Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Went to the dentist today, for a check up and clean. Fell off the seat at £82. Is this reasonable.

I would think G is taking the Mickey out of some of you.
If not, then I would question his motivations and the defences of others.

Yes, keep out and let them do whatever they want to do.
Let them ask you for help when they agreed internally. They will then never agree and waste their resources.

How can you even consider Syria when one of our number is possibly lost to the dark side and even as we speak is being forced to frollic with goats in the kingdom of Bal? This apart does anybody get the feeling that as foretold this post is descending into madness??? Ooeeerrr I am going back to bed.

N,
We have disagreed about the UN a few times before.
But I would still like to to see the body reorganised and and the out of date "rules and regulations" changed.
It would be gainful to remove the power of the veto removed.
Imagine the uproar from USA, little Britain, Russia, and China.
I would like to see it with a "police" enforcement force, which can under the auspices of the UN capable of dealing militarily with situations such as Syria, Libya. Yugoslavia, etc.
The force should be independent of the whims of the "major" countries.
Beside its "peace" keeping role it could be utilised for dealing with major catastrophes.
I understand that the UN already functions to a degree in this manner, but think it valid to extend the role.
Impractical, maybe, but that usually means you don't know how to and can't be bothered to think about it.
Dan Dare could do it in the 50s, it is possible but difficult.
