Massive selling again today - 9.8 million sell vs 2.8 million buy - looks like bears on the rampage. I am sure Evil Knievel is shorting SEO.

evening all. just wondering why all this talk and rumour mongering about seo's technology not working hasnt been mentioned until this week? funny how its the same week as people are saying mr knevil is shorting seo. 2 plus 2 equals four. come on , it aint that hard to figure out. deputy ceo of seo totally refutes the rumours as utter nonsense. thats enough for me.

deancroft: thanks for excellent post.
Filthy Poor: 'Didn't say it was a problem they haven't dealt with. But don't dismiss it as never being a problem'. Then why raise it in the first place?
Re: patents. SEO had excellent cover for their R/F technology applied to optical fibres which kept them in good stead for many years (30?). 'Stanelco has filed applications for a new family of patents in respect of a new packaging system that could revolutionise the global cooked and raw meat packaging industry' (RNS 16/7/04). Even if patents are challenged or breached, then the market lead remains substantial and very valuable.
Re: support levels. What is the solid support level for NLR: 180p? Ask the investors who have received placed shares at 12.875p whether the financial case for that cap. for the company is 'weak'? As with NLR, the fundamentals change with progress made by an emerging company which engender historical price levels redundant.
I don't find your observations credible and they appear to be motivated by an attempt to drive the price down. Why otherwise bother to come onto this thread? Or do you feel a real mission in life to take the (R/F?) scales off the eyes of genuine investors?

What are Eminem's what?
Only joking. The MMs are the market makers. Those folk we buy the shares off and then usually sell them back to at a huge loss.

You mean they're not what I used to call treats - as in, "let me treat you to a nice cheap share, sucker!"

I have got into seo late even though i have been tracking it for months and am now getting worried. The last 2 weeks especially this board has been filled with optimism and now its full of pessimism. Being a bit of a newcomer to this game i`m wondering if i have been sucked in by hype.?
To sell or not sell, that is the question?

doughboy - do not be swayed by optimism and pessimism, attend to the fundamentals and buy on chart indications (sorry, I seem to have picked up Eric's hymn sheet by mistake). Much of the chat has been the essential stuff of self-reinforcing believe systems - I hold therefore I'm wise kind of stuff.
The only philosophy you need to remember is - this company has a fundamentally valuable new product/service on the verge of its first mass market, therefore I buy.
We'd all (OK I'd all) love to be as clever as Dynamite and have bought at 4p, but she's a wily (notice deliberate, ingratiating omission of traditional word "old") bird in it a bit longer than some of us and we can't be overnight. I'm happy I bought in first at 8p and extended my posisiton since then on the way down over the last few days. Still far from happy with my average buying price (and even more PO'd with what I sold to make cash available to top up with) , but equally convinced I won't lose over the near to medium term.
It's a winner, be happy. Go out and enjoy yourself. Come back next month/year to count your profits.

Doughboy, If you want the real assessment of SEO then scroll back onto this thread to BEFORE the recent ASDA announcement. There you will deal with facts and opinion from people who have been behind SEO for a while both with the ups and some pretty bad downs LAST YEAR. The posts on this bb have doubled in two weeks, so many new posters and investors welcome but with that comes some irrational opinions (IMO) and lots of old news and speculation. Fred1New, why the cluckin bell would I be anxious??? Got shed loads at 4-6p. Who are these people who suddenly know so much about RF sealing of meat packs?. I work in packaging and know the potential for this so I'm sticking with it. Nothing has fundamentally changed since last week, just the sp and even the missus says BUYING OPPORTUNITY!!

db66, nothing has changed. the optimists are still here, and you will find the pessimists are mainly jc latelys. also, would malcolm watson please stand up and take a bow!!!!!!!!!!!i thought i was an optimist but to take shares mag to task like that.....wow.....i do hope you are right and they are wrong (to the power of 10). if anyone wants reassurance, take a look at malcoms letter.
mr g cole, seo have made it very clear that the packaging technology is 100% safe from any patent dispute with bprg. and i also like timon days final line
"bioprogress seems to have won the battle on this front but seems unlikely to win a large amount of damages."

Bosley, glad to see an SEO backer amongst all this. Also thought nice one Mr Watson, I believe ten fold is possible for 3-4years time but can see 50p-100p by this time next year. The progress will increase in rapidity as earings come in. Hope sp stays this low whilst I free up more funds!! I'm not good enough to risk trading so I'll stick to topping up on the dips, the decision to log-on and top up on New Years Eve at 5.45p is the best decision I have made so far.
Strange two weeks for us long-term holders.

its been a wonderful two weeks , andy . maybe thats why the longer term holders arnt shitting bricks. i would have liked to have traded , just to increase my holding , but i dont have access to a pc during the day, at the moment, so i wasnt risking it.good luck to adieh, hope it works for you. my gut feeling is that tommorrow we will end the day blue; friday usually ends blue for seo.

good to hear you, Bos - even if I have had to wait up for you to get home
If you can't get to a PC to trade during the day, give AS and me the dosh and we'll place it for you for a small cut of the profits. All on blue!
