NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.
They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.
does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

Anom..receiving vitriol from me...that is a joke.! You post pages and pages of pure hatred towards NML shareholders, especially any who try to present anything positive, like myself. As for your statement"Takahe sounds so confident (on the brink) is because she is in receipt of un-official communications from the management and the PR people. I would hazard a guess that the data she sent you in the email was something connected with this. We saw that she received an email from the new CEO. When she posted the header to the BB, one of the other posters (the one that has misled the BB) reminded her to remove it, lest it appeared to be PSI. Unfortunately, it was too late. The fact was in the open and the information was verified" ...that is absolute NONSENSE. I do not have ANY PSI information, as you very well know. If I did , I would hardly be so stupid as to post it!
You have one set of rules for yourself, Anom and one for others. You ramp EPD endlessly with exaggerated figures but if anyone says anything positive about NML , you claim they must have insider information.
It really is very pathetic.
Your statements here are libellous.

also..."even as a cash shell it is well over valued"...you have not got a clue what you are talking about. How could you possibly know what the value is? As for your spreadsheets, they are inaccurate. As Ianwc says, you want to do a course in statistics.
NML are hoping to get a JV in Angola, in a potentially valuable kimberlite area (C9) with one of the world's biggest diamond producers....what is deceptive about that?
I agree with you that they have gone about it a rather strange way and I am not 'confident' about it, as you state above but I see no reason to asume that they are the con merchants that you constantly portray them as. 4 people have reported YOU to the FSA Consumer Affairs Dept for your unrelenting mis-representation of affairs related to NML.
Anomalous must be right...and twists things to suit his agenda which is to get revenge on the shareholders.
Good luck to all holders!

There has been a post on the AD^FN BB this morning that indicates that PSI is being passed IMO:
notready - 18 Oct'05 - 08:36 - 156 of 162
mclellan,
Just filter him and relieve yourself of the stress. He is bitter and twisted by the fall of EPD from his projeced 60p to 22p today. He is trying to divert attention from his ramping of that share when he caused many to lose a lot of money. He should be ashamed at what he has done to people on EPD and his gratuitous bashing of the sentiment of NML.
EPD may come good, and NML will come good. What Anom says about either doesn't change a thing.
Progress on a kimberlite jv and resumption/sub-contracting of the alluvial mining WILL result in a very big rise in NML, with anything bad that could be said having already been said. That bashing will then be ignored during the rise.
Chill, and wait in the knowledge of what the company and PR guys have clarified.
;-)
It's quite certain from this post - discussing "sub-contracting", something not mentioned in the recent NML RNS, that PSI is being passed around. It amazes me that notready even claims that this news will cause NML to rise. She is confirming that news that she has, and that the company and PR people clarified - will cause the share price to rise.
She is so blatant that she might as well have even put up the email concerned and 'rung the dinner bell' because it is quite clear what the import of the information is.

Absolute nonsense..Anomalous...and you are distorting what she said. You come over here to post your rubbish hoping no one from ADVFN where there are many more investors posting, will see it.
You know perfectly well that NML would hope to restart the alluvials...but the JV is where the money is, and that is why they have taken the chance they did. Notready didn't say the alluvials alone would cause the price to soar...don't distort things ..or is it the way you see them?
Having a conversation in which a "theory" is discussed is NOT PSI...you should know that...

Absolutely dreadfull - I can't get over how much AFD has dropped. There's no reason for it, unless of course the MMs have some large T trades to complete or the news on AK8 is leaking. Even EPD is up and down like a yo-yo, as most other minexs are.
Your 650k trade today is most likely the second half of another 1 million dump. The 300k yesterday looke suspicious and even if it was a buy, which I don't think it was, the MMs have not been able to move very much on the rise.

Whats that supposed to mean? You know something we don't?

The only thing I do know is that the AK8 data is more than likely being held back for the AFD Finals in December. As the company does have to report another set of losses for the year, they can stabilise the price if they report some good news with it - like the AK8 data.
In the meanwhile, the lack of news and data is bound to cause the share price to drift.

Hi Anom..why do you think the AK8 data will be held back until December? It was supposed to be out by October....and the BK results are overdue, as well

You suggest that news about AK8 is a reason for today's fall though.

The whole market is a sea of red today, NML actually did very well in comparison!
AFD got butchered like the rest.

Rumours on Advfn of a placing just completed for NML...we'll soon see if they are true or not. One poster claims to have been offered some at 1.35p

takahe,
That means NML received about 0.8p then!
It will be interesting to see which broker had these, and will give us an idea of the quality of the placing.

A placing of this type is ALWAYS at a discount to the market price ;and not at a premium. So in this instance i would suspect between 0.75 to 1p . l dont believe such a placing exists . lf it does it is not through thier usual channels . .. And then we get a scenario where all the 0.75 big volume buyers sell even at the smallest of movement, or even the going rate, and mms in an attempt to stop sells would mark it down yet furthur. To probably 0.5 to 0.75 ..... A placing is a double edged sword . ,,ln this instance i think the patient is to weak to survive such a trauma of yet more dilution ,,,,,,Out of interest has anyone got a position in this stock; and by postion i mean in excess of 2m + in a stock this size . Sounds a lot but only 20k or so ? lm intrigued .Thats all . @+ J

TFC,
A few on the other side have, only Takahe here may have a position approaching that size I would think, but I could be wrong.
I believe there is a placing going through, we shall see, results are due soon, so they may combine both.

TFC...I did send some postings to the PR chap today about the placing being discussed by some. He knows nothing of any placing, but points out that he is not party to everything going on.
I take it you are not a shareholder, so not really very interested? There seem to be very few holders on this thread
I don't think NML is dead in the water yet, but that is just my own opinion.
