Thanks, yes it was good to have a different explanation. Makes the whole subject clearer. I'm starting to find the whole area of TA quite fascinating but I'm having to work out the buy / sell signals for myself, not a bad thing but time consuming.

I'm tracking a few that I have decided may be buys to see what level of accuracy I'm achieving. Not too bad so far.

I've a question for you, I'll e-mail you.

Hightone
All in good time Hightone, I'm not quite confident enough to go public yet.

I've had a good day too, would you believe WGG is up 24% today? Time to open the bubbly.

:-)

'Evening all.

An especially good hello to my TA Tutor, Hilary. You've saved me a fortune, next job is to make one!

Jeff
Did I call it right on WGG or what? Some other's I chat to were a bit peeved about my suggesting it might drop, philistines!

jeffmack - 18 Jun 2003 20:55 - 1535 of 23498

Socs
You are the man

Socrates - 19 Jun 2003 17:13 - 1536 of 23498

Jeff
I wish! How's banking, are you keeping busy? Aviation is not the business to be in, it's all up and down!

jeffmack - 19 Jun 2003 17:17 - 1537 of 23498

Socs
Fed up with banking, currently got someone looking for contract work for me. Day off tomorrow to play golf, so not all bad.

This_is_me - 19 Jun 2003 21:14 - 1538 of 23498

Bad day - FTSE down almost 2%, Me portfolio down 3% wiping out half Me gains for the month, she (who thinks she should be obeyed) talked Me into a new table and 6 chairs, offline all day with Freeserve (at 50p per minute) and BT blaming each other. Anyone know a better ISP with good customer support - not broadband since Me exchange is still in the dark ages?

A large helping of pavlova followed by some cheap crockery to throw at the wall, to get rid of Me frustration, please!

hightone - 19 Jun 2003 21:36 - 1539 of 23498

bloody hell there is life in this cafe yet i am thinking of up grading to to windows XP from win 98 2ed any tips and is it worth it cheers.

HT.

This_is_me - 19 Jun 2003 22:19 - 1540 of 23498

Microsoft bloatware needs plenty of RAM and a fast processor, if your computer is more than 2 years old it probably isn't worth trying it.

Socrates - 19 Jun 2003 22:33 - 1541 of 23498

HT
I'm also thinking of upgrading. Lots of friends have XP and they are quite impressed. I'm using Windows Me at present and it's not too bad but XP is better it seems. Nobody I've met has had trouble upgrading so I'm trying to pluck up courage to do it. Only problem is coughing up the rhino! Maybe I should ask Jeff for a loan.

Me
Register interest with BT. They won't upgrade the exchange unless they have sufficient interest then once it gets to the target figure they will install the necessary gubbins. Are you in a cable TV area? I presume not since you would have said!

OK, are there any cool drinkies in the fridge?
