Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Greek - Move to Aberdeen. Water rates included in Council Tax, err no worries there haven't been increased for think it's the fourth year now! Free prescriptions. Free parking hospital car parks. Oh, and of course if resident in Scotland no fees to pay to go the university either. Great eh!

Funny you should say that DC, mildest winter for yonks (makes a change), lived here for11 years now and nearly played as much golf per week as I would in the season. Usually three or four times tops between Oct and Feb. Watch it snow in June now :O)

Hose pipe ban here soon. Going to be a major drought this year, if we do not get some rain. Dont know how wet Wales has been. The lake district looks to have pinched all our rain.

Still blaming labour.

" Thay talk a good talk but have done f all since they came to power. " sound's like the Labour party and they had 13 year's to do something , apart from flooding the UK with a secrete agenda of uncontrolled immigration.

They built a few new hospitals and schools which are now being sold off.
Probably taking your bus pass away.

They needed them to cope with uncontrolled immigration. hospitals and schools being sold off doesn't mean they are being closed or demolished.

Not sure I support labour, but certainly don't support the layerbouts in charge at the moment!
I would like to see a breakdown of jobs the "immigrants" have peformed in the UK for the last 30years.
And the economic benefit they have been during that period.

PS.
Certainly, more sympathetic to the underlying ideology and motivation of the Labour party, but a little sceptical of some of the simplistic methods and time frames, which are suggested by their members for implementation of policies.
It is the polarisation and fragmentation of society, by either of the main parties, which seems too often to cause problems.
The present tory party seems hell bent on dividing society more and more, with an encouragement of “we are different and better than them mentality” and can do what we “believe” to protect or advantage our little group.
Also, it seems an attempt to divert attention from their own failings, rather than having the courage to face some of the real problems which this society has at the moment. Hoping, I would think, as a distraction and to stay in power.

Goldfinger,
Had to laugh.
With all the talk of high water costs and a water shortage, I can understand you not washing anymore, but how can you be a floating voter?
Greek.
