THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Im not a smoker Chris. I do laugh when you go out to dinner and he uses it. The other night the table behind were coughing. What a bunch of ------ :-)). you will not have to get wet when it rains in Scotland for a fag outside at the pub as you can use it inside. lol

dreamcatcher - 25 Feb 2012 19:41 - 15230 of 81564

Hose pipe ban here soon. Going to be a major drought this year, if we do not get some rain. Dont know how wet Wales has been. The lake district looks to have pinched all our rain.

Fred Im a floating voter, but I cant remember a government so piss poor and arrogant as this lot thats in now.

Thay talk a good talk but have done f all since they came to power.

Still blaming labour.

It doesnt wash anymore.

What makes it worse is that i voted for the WANKERS.

Suppose that makes me a big wanker than them LOL.

aldwickk - 25 Feb 2012 22:48 - 15232 of 81564

" Thay talk a good talk but have done f all since they came to power. " sound's like the Labour party and they had 13 year's to do something , apart from flooding the UK with a secrete agenda of uncontrolled immigration.

Fred1new - 26 Feb 2012 08:53 - 15233 of 81564

a,

They built a few new hospitals and schools which are now being sold off.

Probably taking your bus pass away.

aldwickk - 26 Feb 2012 09:07 - 15234 of 81564

They needed them to cope with uncontrolled immigration. hospitals and schools being sold off doesn't mean they are being closed or demolished.

Fred1new - 26 Feb 2012 10:37 - 15236 of 81564

N

Not sure I support labour, but certainly don't support the layerbouts in charge at the moment!

I would like to see a breakdown of jobs the "immigrants" have peformed in the UK for the last 30years.

And the economic benefit they have been during that period.

Fred1new - 26 Feb 2012 11:12 - 15237 of 81564

PS.

Certainly, more sympathetic to the underlying ideology and motivation of the Labour party, but a little sceptical of some of the simplistic methods and time frames, which are suggested by their members for implementation of policies.

It is the polarisation and fragmentation of society, by either of the main parties, which seems too often to cause problems.

The present tory party seems hell bent on dividing society more and more, with an encouragement of “we are different and better than them mentality” and can do what we “believe” to protect or advantage our little group.

Also, it seems an attempt to divert attention from their own failings, rather than having the courage to face some of the real problems which this society has at the moment. Hoping, I would think, as a distraction and to stay in power.

Goldfinger,

Had to laugh.
With all the talk of high water costs and a water shortage, I can understand you not washing anymore, but how can you be a floating voter?

Greek.

greekman - 26 Feb 2012 16:30 - 15240 of 81564

Hi Aldwickk,

Can't reply via the e-mail system as you don't have it setup.
But briefly, I still think it wasn't fixed and that Klitschco was just doing what he always appears to do, he tends to smile and be very laid back, until he gets in the ring of course.
Haye was a disgrace to the profession.
Not sure about Chisora, as I have not seen a clear video of who actually started it.

Greek

aldwickk - 26 Feb 2012 20:02 - 15241 of 81564

Hi greekman,

From what i saw of it Chisora may have removed his jacket and rushed over to confront Haye after saying he would give him two slap's when he was seated on the press stand , and Haye hit him first while holding a drink's bottle because he thought he was about to be hit by Chisora . Chisora should never have left the press stand .

greekman - 27 Feb 2012 07:09 - 15242 of 81564

Chisora should never have left the press stand .
Agreed.

New Routemaster bus to start running on London roads

The first new Routemaster bus will begin its service in London later, Transport for London (TfL) has said.

The launch of the new bus, which will run between Victoria Station in central London and Hackney in the east, was delayed for a week by paperwork.

Mayor Boris Johnson has been criticised by the Labour, the Lib Dems and Green Party over the cost of the buses.

TANKER - 27 Feb 2012 14:35 - 15248 of 81564

greece should now leave the EU and go back in time .
