post 1530 will have helped and of course production start is imminent ..... it's just a damn good oily with plenty of real stuff instead of just blue sky, and it has lagged somewhat in recent months

Notice NT bailed last week, bet he is back in today. Glad I kept the faith. This is the longest hold I have ever held on a spread bet.

AFRE.L, Afren The cheapest stock we cover /OML 26 revisited - Raising TP to 220p; Stay OW
Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc
Rating: Overweight
Share Price: 157p
Oil & Gas: Attractive
Target: 220p
52-Week Range: 164-77
Mkt. Cap(mn): US$2,259
ModelWare EPS: 0.03US$ (FY 12/'10), 0.17US$ (FY 12/'11)
We raise our Afren (OW) base case NAV by c.20% to 222p and set our 220p TP (prev. 185p) in
line with our Base NAV, for 40% potential upside. After working with the company, and reflecting
the explicit terms of the contract, we have remodeled the OML 26 oil field (First Deal through FHN
Unlocking the Prize, 10/21/10). Afren now trades at an 8% discount to Core NAV and is the
cheapest E&P that we cover. We see 3 near-term catalysts that could narrow the valuation gap:
1) First oil from Ebok (late Feb); 2) Presidential decree of the Nigerian Petroleum Industry Bill,
PIB (April); and 3) results from the first well (Block 1101, Madagascar) in the nine well. Afren will
present at our East Africa E&P Conference on 16 March and report FY results on 29 March.
