CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

thestatusquo - 01 Jun 2004 17:01 - 1543 of 1924

These microcaps can move sharply on momentum buying and its obvious from the increase in volume that interest at these levels is returning.

The red 10day MA is turning up, the blue 50day at 9.5pence is key for me. If the share price makes a golden cross with the blue 50dayMA over the next week or so, then 11.5pence is next target level.

Beyond that, there are no resistance levels until 14-15pence. Early days, but then thats when most money is made!

momentum - 01 Jun 2004 17:02 - 1544 of 1924

Nice rise today on good rising volume,on balance volume has turned up bodes well for the rest of the week. Some of my strong technical indicators are giving short term buy signals.however if the momentum continues to give a buy on point and figure then we could some exceptional gains. In the mean time expect resistance in the 9-10p area. IMHO

SueHelen - 01 Jun 2004 17:15 - 1545 of 1924

Sorry TSQ but these still don't excite me at the moment...

thestatusquo - 01 Jun 2004 19:18 - 1546 of 1924

Agree momentum on figures. If follow through takes us into that 9-10p range, then we could move very quickly from there. There are no real upper resistance levels until 13-15pence!

This stock remains very oversold. With the large cash balances, this company offers new buyers a safety cushion.

I'm buying again up to 10pence short term.

Sorry you don't agree Sue. We never did get to see 50pence last Christmas. I'm looking for 20pence this one and 60pence Christmas 05.

All IMHO.

happy to watch - 01 Jun 2004 20:22 - 1547 of 1924

TSQ - not heard the "It'll be 50p by Christmas" joke for a while, makes me chuckle every time though. Your expectations are very realistic subject to sales and marketing effort at CMS translating into bottom line numbers.

momentum - 02 Jun 2004 08:36 - 1548 of 1924

Fingers crossed volume continues to hold.

momentum - 02 Jun 2004 18:03 - 1549 of 1924

Very disappointed with todays volume,sp action ok considering last few days price rise but buying practically dried up today. Took a T10 at 7.5p on friday looking for a little momentum buying on oversold indicators. However will close very soon if volume stays low as this would indicate nothing more than a technical bounce from an oversold condition and SP is likely to continue down.

thestatusquo - 02 Jun 2004 19:16 - 1550 of 1924

Momentum,

IMHO, the risk you run with this stock is being on the wrong side of a large piece of news. The first bank or new exchange that buys TDI would prove important.

Any new contract announcement should drive this stock much higher from these depressed levels.

thestatusquo - 02 Jun 2004 19:18 - 1551 of 1924

I remain a buyer up to 10pence, and remain happy to hold until Christmas 05. Only a significant downgrade on the next 2 sets of interims would change my targets.

With cash worth about 4p per share, and new contracts worth in the region of 750k, the upside/downside risk/reward ratio make it worth buying at these levels.

lex1000 - 03 Jun 2004 00:28 - 1552 of 1924

Crept back to bounce off 7.5p to current 8p/9p.Just waiting on order(s) for TDI and sp should fly on news.

momentum - 03 Jun 2004 10:53 - 1553 of 1924

Agree TSQ you could be on the wrong side. But you could be waiting a very long time. I may be weeks / months or even 2005 who knows, but it has been quite sometime since the last one. However i am fairly confident they will sign.

thestatusquo - 03 Jun 2004 17:41 - 1554 of 1924

lex1000,

9.5p is key level. I think if it is taken out anyway soon, we will be at the beginning of a new upturn in the price which could be swift.

This company has huge cash resources to market itself in Europe & USA. For me, it is merely at the start of its growth story.

thestatusquo - 03 Jun 2004 17:43 - 1555 of 1924

momentum,

Agree it may take patience, but since TDI product has now passed development stage, main focus is sales, sales, sales.

You must fancy them to do something in 2004!

warrenc - 03 Jun 2004 23:38 - 1556 of 1924

the trick with most small caps is patience.most people jump in for the quick buck which plays havoc with the share price.the new sales office in america will produce sales.it just takes time.rome wasen't built in a day!

thestatusquo - 04 Jun 2004 11:44 - 1557 of 1924

Agree totally warrenc!

It's all about exposure and profile for these microcap companies. An office in Chicago is hugely impressive, as is CMS current client list.

I'm confident all the building blocks are falling into place for a profitable future.

IMHO a re-rating upwards in share price is due from what I believe to be an oversold position.

TSQ.

thestatusquo - 04 Jun 2004 11:53 - 1558 of 1924

Just looked again at recent appointment of a new executive director for North America.

The potential market out there is really huge. It is, I realise, all just potential at the moment, but the market is massive, including exchanges and banks.

Fot the size of this company, it really does appear to be able to open very big doors! The new director appears to have the contacts to push them open.

momentum - 04 Jun 2004 16:55 - 1559 of 1924

Sold T trades yesterday and today, mid price in the market is 8p down 0.5p. Totally misread last weeks rise,MM s sucked in a few traders hoping for a little momentum. However after 2 up days further volume buying never materilised. Will wait for further contracts to be announced before buying. Expect the trend to continue down as i expect the market is waiting for TDI contracts before they are prepared to rerate the shares. While there are no buyers the only way is down and imho will return back to 6.75p and below over the coming weeks. If your going to buy TSQ then i would what for the 6p area.

beaufort1 - 04 Jun 2004 17:12 - 1560 of 1924

Momentum you are gloomy but usually right.

thestatusquo - 04 Jun 2004 17:39 - 1561 of 1924

I have been happy to top up below the 10pence level of the placing. I figure investors who know a lot more than me, bought a lot more shares than me and seemed very happy to do it. The offer was heavily oversubscribed.

With IT spending increasing & a general increase in corporate spending, CMS prospects remain bright.

8p, 6p, whatever, these levels are cheap. As I said before a share price of 6p values this company at 4.8mio with 3.3mio of that in CASH.

Directors still own large chunks of stock as well.

Apathy can cause price to drift but fundamentals are supportive & tell me this share is undervalued.

momentum - 04 Jun 2004 20:41 - 1562 of 1924

Imho brokers did very well to get the placing away at 10p. But thats about all they have done.
