underground01_2.jpgA busy day in the Warsaw Underground ! Not just another coffee shop chain - this one is a brand leader and is only trading in Eastern/Central Europe (i.e. the countries recently admitted to the EU destined for substantial business growth). The company is creating new outlets at a fair old pace and take a look at their website - these are quality stores in high-profile locations like major airports, railway stations etc. Website: http://www.coffeeheaven.eu.com

AH

There is definitely a lot going on in the background....as you say time will tell.

beemer2 - 02 Jul 2007 14:23 - 1546 of 2037

The late trades must be from last week...

David10B - 02 Jul 2007 15:19 - 1547 of 2037

Sould have been COH taking out Snack Attack. Plenty of shareholders money in the kitty to have done so.

Thats the problem with poor directorships

Ultimate Cynic - 03 Jul 2007 09:26 - 1548 of 2037

AdieH, it appears to be up by .75p but they have left the bid the same. I wish both would move up in tandem.
Glad to have re-purchased some of the shares back yesterday that I'd sold a couple of weeks ago.
UC.

AdieH - 03 Jul 2007 09:34 - 1549 of 2037

Yep ticked up .75 low volume though and a couple of sells going through... Good news about the joint venture and hopefully an update when the intermins come out later this month...

David10B - 03 Jul 2007 09:58 - 1550 of 2037

Good Morning AdieH I dont think the deal is a good for COH. bd by good I mean good for confidence in the compay as it looks as if its gone a running to its little brother for help.

COH should have bought out Snack Attack or perhaps even got into what----- THE BUYERS SNACK ATTACK DID BEFORE THEY DID AS IT WAS A CLEAR BARGAIN.

As the deal terms unfold the COH price will fall as the company never had any substance and this confirms it to me at least.

beemer2 - 03 Jul 2007 10:30 - 1551 of 2037

I am expecting some more late "buys" appearing later in the day...looking very good at the moment.

David10B - 03 Jul 2007 10:37 - 1552 of 2037

I wonder why COH made the last cash call,, if this deal means a floor space sharing exercise.

And if it does, does it mean the possibilty of high volune pedestrian thoroughfare areas has gone?

Was that the reason why COH came to the market twice for money they have not spent--just to tie them over?

Lots of question and again a Mr Worthington who seems quick of the mark to reply to ADIEh------ IS YET AGAIN SLOW WITH AN RNS
TO ENLIGHTEN ALLTHE POOR SHAREHOLDERS!

UNLIKE BMW ABOVE I THINK WE MAY SEE THE SP FALL TODAY-----THIS IS A MMs money maker.

beemer2 - 03 Jul 2007 10:43 - 1553 of 2037

Somebody is defininately stake building...could get more blue today.

David10B - 03 Jul 2007 11:32 - 1554 of 2037

and lots of bodies are selling too.

David10B - 03 Jul 2007 11:35 - 1555 of 2037

And down she goes--this drop should clear the air and the path to the low 30s.

Padgham - 03 Jul 2007 14:08 - 1556 of 2037

lots have to sell for lots to buy...

David10B - 03 Jul 2007 14:23 - 1557 of 2037

yes agreed but more are doing it( the former)---question is will it become fashionable.

David10B - 03 Jul 2007 15:18 - 1558 of 2037

And yet more competition for COH---CAN IT GET ANY WORSE?

EMF divests from Coffeeheaven investment

Empik Media Fashion (EMF), a leading fashion brand operator in Poland, has divested its entire 9.5% stake in Coffeeheaven International, the company which manages the largest coffee bar chain on the Polish market.
When embarking upon the investment EMF had intended to increase its initial stake in the coffee company to at least 30% but because of its fragmented shareholder structure this was not, however, possible. Katarzyna Gorecka, the communication director at EMF, told Retail Update Poland: As we could not hold a significant stake in the target and influence the companys management, we decided to abandon the investment.
Three caf bearing the Coffeeheaven logo which opened in Empik bookstores will be now re-named and included in the chain of 17 Empik Cafbars currently active in some bookshops. A few new coffee bars bearing the Empik name are expected to open this year, with further launches planned for 2008.

A bright and vivacious take on the Starbucks theme only much better than the original. The best place in the city for coffee, cakes, smoothies, sandwiches and wraps, though the ordering system, pay at one counter, wait for your winnings at another, has a habit of descending into farce.
