Oh, looks like I'm alone again, I'll just have to get a pack of cards out and play Solitaire.

STORMCALLER - 08 Oct 2004 18:57 - 15534 of 23498

Evening all,
Friday....at last! And given four blue days out of five, the first "up" week for some considerable time for me. On that basis a very DP and very VIN celebration is called for, perfectly chilled and plenty for anyone that cares to join.

stockbunny, delivered as promised........lol

jj50, it appears I was a bit late, a bit behind the game as usual!

optomistic - 08 Oct 2004 19:14 - 15535 of 23498

Hello Stormy good to see you about again. You have no doubt been too busy to read all the afternoons postings, to shorten your task we have been 'to France today' quite an experience with Bunny, Brocks and Amber!! Lets open that DP sure Choccy wont be far away.

STORMCALLER - 08 Oct 2004 19:17 - 15536 of 23498

G'day opto,
Already open! And you are right, I can't keep up with the level of posts, but there is plenty of fizz to aid the recuperation after the rigours of the journey.

Socrates - 08 Oct 2004 19:22 - 15537 of 23498

Stormy
I just got back from a mid-week break and had 200 posts to read. That's what is called devotion.

optomistic - 08 Oct 2004 19:23 - 15538 of 23498

Some journey Stormy, In Ambers two seater just the four of us inc. Socs. Amber is potential racing driver stuff, take note for future possible lifts!!!!
On serious note I think you sent me link for site for electrical stuff, lost it any chance you may post it again please.

STORMCALLER - 08 Oct 2004 19:28 - 15539 of 23498

Socs,
I admire that level of dedication, I hope you njoyed the well earned break!
opto,
Not sure that was me?? but then memory fades, any idea of supplier name?

optomistic - 08 Oct 2004 19:31 - 15540 of 23498

Nope, but I was looking for a fridge at that time and I thought it was you who posted the link (could be mistaken) it is not unusual :-)

Socrates - 08 Oct 2004 19:32 - 15541 of 23498

Opto
After twenty two years with drivers in the RAF, not even Amberjane could worry me.

optomistic - 08 Oct 2004 19:35 - 15542 of 23498

Socs, Porches do 160 RAF things were a little slower and lets face it they were never in such a rush as Amber :-)

brockman - 08 Oct 2004 19:41 - 15543 of 23498

RAF slower but with shinier shoes Opto? ;o)

Great fun in Amber's Porche this afternoon, can you top it in your tardis Stormie?

STORMCALLER - 08 Oct 2004 19:43 - 15544 of 23498

Socs,
I can tell you , that you would find Amber's driving..inspiring!
Evening brockman,
Er actually yes.....in any dimension...but I get lost a lot.....lol

Socrates - 08 Oct 2004 19:43 - 15545 of 23498

Opto
A 160 mph Porch is quite a novelty but Vulcans and Lightnings are just a tad faster. Sheer speed is not however the sole measure of terror factor.

Socrates - 08 Oct 2004 19:44 - 15546 of 23498

brockman - 08 Oct 2004 19:46 - 15547 of 23498

Agreed Soc's, we have hidden hairdressers hiding behind the shower curtains in the cellar.....

Ahh Stormie, you need a sonic screwdriver but I guess you know that!

Me, I'm still struggling with a Phillip's! When he finally hands it over I may stand a chance! Opto has kindly supplied me with the said tool, thanks Opto!

STORMCALLER - 08 Oct 2004 19:49 - 15548 of 23498

brockman,
Sonic sounds good, but I think it would probably need ultrasonics for me these days...

optomistic - 08 Oct 2004 19:51 - 15549 of 23498

They certainly are Socs. I would love to have control of a fast jet if only for only a short while. As you will know the closer to the ground you are the more the perception of speed. I fly happily at 110 knots but four feet off the runway 70 knots is a different situation.....and Amber on the road, I don't really know, but she sounds to be a quick driver. I promise to keep this from my mate the policeman :-))

brockman - 08 Oct 2004 19:52 - 15550 of 23498

Oh no, I have visions of Stormie with child, maybe a baby Gale!

brockman - 08 Oct 2004 19:55 - 15551 of 23498

I have been trying to avoid the news today, but David wants to watch it now on Sky with me. So here goes, poor Ken, lots of love,
Nite all, Brocks
