OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.
No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.
So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

I wouldn't recommend white spirit without using great care, it can be nasty stuff but yes it should work. I take it you have a) no lawn or b) an electric mower? :o)

White spirit works! No worries Kim these hands have been in white spirit many times after declaring war on large areas of white gloss paint ;>)
I find as long as I wash after wards with soap and use hand cream it's ok :>)
No Mower - no grass :>)

Sky News today:-
Scientists in Belfast and Waterford have discovered that antioxidants found in fruit and vegetables such as carrots may slow down sight loss in elderly people.
In a five-year study Professor Usha Chakravarthy, from the Queen's University Centre of Vision and Vascular Science, looked at nutritional supplements for patients with early age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and found they helped sharpen vision.
I'll bet we can't see in the dark though! Not suggesting that there is anyone elderly here of course! :o)

LOL Kim well I can say it does naff all for being short sighted in your 40's! I eat (and have always eaten) huge amounts of fruit and veg from quorn to kiwi and everything inbetween and my eyesight is crap if something isn't under my nose LOL
