Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Also washing powder, bit rough on the hands though!

Fry up smoothie here for Spacie. (Slides a hash brown under KEAYDIAN's door).

Meths - I have white spirit that's the same isn't it?
Petrol - don't think the lads will appreciate me syphoning their tanks LOL
No baby wipes, 18 years too late ;>)

Thank you Kim :>)
The bath one is the worst - the white one, absolutely disgusting stuff!

kimoldfield - 18 Jun 2009 13:32 - 1574 of 4886

I wouldn't recommend white spirit without using great care, it can be nasty stuff but yes it should work. I take it you have a) no lawn or b) an electric mower? :o)

stockbunny - 18 Jun 2009 13:35 - 1575 of 4886

White spirit works! No worries Kim these hands have been in white spirit many times after declaring war on large areas of white gloss paint ;>)
I find as long as I wash after wards with soap and use hand cream it's ok :>)

No Mower - no grass :>)

kimoldfield - 18 Jun 2009 13:50 - 1576 of 4886

Good on ya Bunny! :o)

KEAYDIAN - 18 Jun 2009 14:03 - 1577 of 4886

kimoldfield - 19 Jun 2009 11:24 - 1584 of 4886

Morning all! (Sizzle, sizzle, fry, fry).

Good luck with the carrots Bunny. Don't forget to plant the seeds the right way up! ;o)

stockbunny - 19 Jun 2009 12:08 - 1585 of 4886

Just done a run down the chippie people - help yourselves plenty of everything......

It will take a while to get the new warren sorted Spacie, progress is slow but happening.

Very good Kim - bit like hanging a mirror the right way up........ ;>)

kimoldfield - 19 Jun 2009 12:53 - 1586 of 4886

Yum, yum! Thanks Bunny. Yep, all the mirrors in our house are upside down and our carrots have come up in Australia! :o)

kimoldfield - 19 Jun 2009 13:00 - 1587 of 4886

Sky News today:-

Scientists in Belfast and Waterford have discovered that antioxidants found in fruit and vegetables such as carrots may slow down sight loss in elderly people.
In a five-year study Professor Usha Chakravarthy, from the Queen's University Centre of Vision and Vascular Science, looked at nutritional supplements for patients with early age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and found they helped sharpen vision.

I'll bet we can't see in the dark though! Not suggesting that there is anyone elderly here of course! :o)

stockbunny - 19 Jun 2009 15:23 - 1588 of 4886

LOL Kim well I can say it does naff all for being short sighted in your 40's! I eat (and have always eaten) huge amounts of fruit and veg from quorn to kiwi and everything inbetween and my eyesight is crap if something isn't under my nose LOL

KEAYDIAN - 19 Jun 2009 15:24 - 1589 of 4886

(rumble)

kimoldfield - 19 Jun 2009 15:46 - 1590 of 4886

Oops! forgot (sizzle, sizzle, fry, fry) Bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes. Hmmm, pity I can't slide this lot under KEAYDIAN's door: maybe I'll eat it myself.

All this healthy eating stuff.....is it all it's cracked up to be?!! This is the stuff to eat, here on this plate! :O)

stockbunny - 19 Jun 2009 16:21 - 1591 of 4886

All depends what you get used to Kim, it's only rarely I can face something fried and never first thing in the morning, the smell just does nothing for my stomach before lunchtime!

I'll stick to my fruit, cheese and crusty wholemeal roll for tea thanks :>)
