I would've thought it's the oil minister comments that caused the sell off, Beebs. Ever the contrarian though, I've covered my short into the fall ..... Like to leave something there for the next person.

:o)

Nighty, night.

Beeblebrox - 02 Jun 2004 17:13 - 1573 of 11056

dont let the bugs bite !

Tellon - 02 Jun 2004 17:16 - 1574 of 11056

Still Short + 100pips atm.

Thinking about covering, move stop to break even at least..

edit, moved stop to 50pips

hilary - 02 Jun 2004 17:18 - 1575 of 11056

I'll try not to, Beebs.

Talking of bugs off topic, I've got a million whitefly which all seem to congregate outside of my conservatory. When they're on plants I can spray the plants, but how do I get rid of them when they're all just flying around willynilly?

Beeblebrox - 02 Jun 2004 17:27 - 1576 of 11056

tell them you'll cook them dinner ?

tellon; i've gone long 183.14 and 24 for the bounce,

Beeblebrox - 02 Jun 2004 17:37 - 1577 of 11056

Noooooooo why are you fighting me.. go short!!

Tellon - 02 Jun 2004 18:01 - 1579 of 11056

1.8335 is resistance at the moment, next support is at 300 & 277

hilary - 02 Jun 2004 18:21 - 1580 of 11056

Well I expect that you'll see reasonably strong support buying at around the 1.83 level as that's the current level of the bounding line at the bottom of the expanding triangle which I mentioned first thing this morning. Although I don't really see why I should share my thoughts if all you're going to do is knock my cooking ...... It's roast forerib of beef tonight ...... medium rare ..... yum, yum.

Beeblebrox - 02 Jun 2004 18:33 - 1581 of 11056

please can i come for din dins - my favourite

i'll bring the horseradish.....

oh, and the rioja

Tellon - 02 Jun 2004 18:37 - 1582 of 11056

Its also the fib retracement on the daily.. But I want it to break!!

hilary - 02 Jun 2004 18:49 - 1583 of 11056

You're definitely not invited if you're under the illusion that you can get away with some cheap Spanish plonk!!!!!

:o)

Beeblebrox - 02 Jun 2004 18:55 - 1584 of 11056

oooh, that hurt.......

ok champagne for the lady...

what do you want hils ?

hilary - 03 Jun 2004 07:19 - 1585 of 11056

You can't buy what I want in a wine warehouse, Beebs. Nice bit of beef, btw ..... more rare than medium-rare as it turned out, with pasta and a salad and steamed plums and rasberries on a pancake with creme fraiche for dessert. Winston, my dog, enjoyed the bone and there's enough left from your serving for lunch today.

:o)

Cable found support overnight from the bounding line of that expanding triangle. It wouldn't surprise me if it breaks on the next test though. When will that be? I'll try to paste up a chart later.

Sue 42 - 03 Jun 2004 07:57 - 1587 of 11056

did you cook the beef for just you & the dog?

I am kicking myself - closed a long & then opened it again lower duh! now a lot lower!

hilary - 03 Jun 2004 08:09 - 1588 of 11056

Pretty much the case Sue. I fed my husband and 2 kids a tin of Pedigree Chum and some Eukanuba.

prodman - 03 Jun 2004 08:14 - 1589 of 11056

hilary - sounds to me as if you spoil them.

hilary - 03 Jun 2004 08:16 - 1590 of 11056

You're probably right, prodman. Maybe I'll give the Eukanuba a miss tonight.

hilary - 03 Jun 2004 08:28 - 1591 of 11056

Saudi & Kuwait seem to be paving the way for output increases at the top end of expectations against the wishes of the smaller producers. That should see Cable tank imo.
