Yes stockdog - and the second name would be very apt, in my experience!

hewittalan6 - 31 Mar 2006 17:46 - 15807 of 27111

Imagine the fallout over which company got the "&" part.

hewittalan6 - 31 Mar 2006 17:48 - 15808 of 27111

That always bothered me about the break up of czechoslovakia.
People went on and on about the plight of the czechs and of the slovaks. No one gave a damn what happened to the poor "o"s.

stockdog - 31 Mar 2006 18:29 - 15809 of 27111

or the even poorer ia's

kimoldfield - 31 Mar 2006 19:32 - 15810 of 27111

In France the Frog pack is called:-

Boe de houblonnage. (Hopping box)

I want news to arrive on the 6th April so that I can get some of my shares put into my new ISA.

The oily one

kimoldfield - 31 Mar 2006 19:46 - 15812 of 27111

I cannot substantiate this but I understand that France's biggest condom manufacturer is using Frogpack for it's products....it is to supply the need for the weekend Frog's legover.

No need to worry about the "o"s and "ia"s from Czechoslovakia they are now gainfully employed throughout the world acting as sun bed protector attendants for the Germans. Anybody who can work that out has not had enough weekend alcohol yet...hmm or maybe too much already.

After some intensive research I have ascertained that SEO are using the name Frogpack in France for biodegradable coffins.

If you read the first line of my post 15781 above, you will see why I like the concept of biodegradable coffins.

I have always thought that I am biodegradable - (after cremation).

The oily (and biodegradable) one

stockdog - 01 Apr 2006 04:47 - 15817 of 27111

Equally I suppose the French for hopping mad is fou de houblonnage, although perhaps this might be seen to biodegrade the French language. Don't let TFC catch us having fun with his native tongue! (always thought The Frog Collection was an odd name to choose)

The most exciting development at SEO at the moment is Polar Foil. Trials are underway (so I'm told) for a packaging that, though not biodegradable, has the massive environmental benefit of being so efficient at insulation, it can keep frozen food frozen for up to two weeks at room temperature.
Imagine the impact this could have on not needing those freezer lorries, or instore freezers, and all the energy that would save, as well as space in the warehouse etc.
I don't think they've even thought of the possibilities for house insulation etc.
Now this really is big!!!!
