Jeff

can be`quite scary watching the high stakes tables - watched a guy lose 8k on a hand!!!

had a mare in the 100k tourney last night (only cost me 10 to qualify) - was just about to get into the money when my AK suited lost to AQ - ouch!!!

daves dazzlers - 11 Oct 2004 15:38 - 15808 of 23498

are you a player fundy, some guy was talking to me about getting the t shirt,,does that make any sence to you!

stockbunny - 11 Oct 2004 15:43 - 15809 of 23498

Yes Dave - the divi is the main reason why I hold them as they are
unlikely to set the world on fire in a hurry.
HBOS and HAS now rising too - things may be improving...

optomistic - 11 Oct 2004 16:36 - 15810 of 23498

Afternoon all, just got back in time for the close, seems like it has been one of those not much happening today days. Any tea left? could really do with a large pot.

Fundamentalist - 11 Oct 2004 16:39 - 15811 of 23498

Dave

yes i do play - makes me a bit of pocket money - dont know what the t shirt comment means (unless you mean been there, done that got the t shirt)

stockbunny - 11 Oct 2004 16:43 - 15812 of 23498

Afternoon Opto!
Plenty of tea in the pot.

optomistic - 11 Oct 2004 16:46 - 15813 of 23498

Thankful for that Bunny will more than likely have seconds, not been a bad day really, not lost much...not made much i.e zilch!!!

Socrates - 11 Oct 2004 16:50 - 15814 of 23498

Mary had a little lamb, now that was a surprise!

stockbunny - 11 Oct 2004 16:53 - 15815 of 23498

Afternoon Socs - no lamb in the menu today as far as I know..
But other then that how are you today?

Opto - just checked on AV - are you going to be able to hold out for
that extra bit - I'd be getting itchy palms on it by now!
Yes the day has worked out much better then it looked earlier on,
mostly blue now except BFP - but there's no offical news so it
seems speculation based on newspapers over the weekend (re: the bid)

Socrates - 11 Oct 2004 16:56 - 15816 of 23498

Mary had a little bear,
to it she was so kind,
and everywhere that Mary went
you'ld see her bear behind.

daves dazzlers - 11 Oct 2004 16:56 - 15817 of 23498

fundy this guy was in our hotel, who had been on a cruise ship playing poker,he said his brother had been on many cruise ships playing poker but never won the t shirt.he went on his first cruise an won it !

i also didn`t have a clue what he was talking about.

stockbunny - 11 Oct 2004 16:59 - 15818 of 23498

I think I had better get Socs some trifle - he's showing withdrawal
symptoms, obviously been on cold-turkey all weekend with no trifle
in sight!

Dave - poker - if you can lie with a straight face its easy! LOL

stockbunny - 11 Oct 2004 17:03 - 15819 of 23498

I'm outta here now - son needs computer...many girls to chat
to on messenger LOL - can't get in the way of that can I ? ;>)
Ok be good and have a great evening!

Socrates - 11 Oct 2004 17:03 - 15820 of 23498

Hi folks, that's it, holiday over with the official end of first day back at work. Great day for my portfolio too, only one share now spoiling the party but since it is a renowned dog I can't express surprise.

Roll on with the trifle, didn't get any at the hotel where I stayed so withdrawal symptoms is right.

daves dazzlers - 11 Oct 2004 17:04 - 15821 of 23498
