Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 10 Jun 2007 15:16 - 15808 of 24230

Absolutely sure Opto. I was sure the first time and haven't changed my mind since.

I need more time to sit and eat sherry trifle and swing in the hammock. Then there is moving house......!

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 08:43 - 15809 of 24230

Monday?

KEAYDIAN - 11 Jun 2007 08:55 - 15810 of 24230

Yes Socs, all day today.

stockbunny - 11 Jun 2007 09:09 - 15811 of 24230

Yawn - morning - sleep? What's that...barely seen any for 3 nights, it is way too humid! So if I curl up and snooze during the day try not to trip over me chaps!

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 09:36 - 15812 of 24230

Good morning all. Well if it's Monday, it's a grey Monday.

I need a cuppa.

stockbunny - 11 Jun 2007 09:55 - 15813 of 24230

Tea on the way Socs :>)
Keeps threatening a storm here - wish it would....

Spaceman - 11 Jun 2007 10:22 - 15814 of 24230

Morning all, from a dull and grey Hastings, but after a bright, sunny and hot weekend.

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 10:49 - 15815 of 24230

According to MetCheck, it is the monsoon season in Europe.

stockbunny - 11 Jun 2007 10:52 - 15816 of 24230

could be by the weekend according to the weather forecast - good might be able to sleep by then LOL

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 10:59 - 15817 of 24230

No chance of the warren being flooded then?

stockbunny - 11 Jun 2007 11:03 - 15818 of 24230

No all the latest flood defenses in place here ;>)

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 11:12 - 15819 of 24230

Oh, flood defenses! Yes, I've heard all about those.

stockbunny - 11 Jun 2007 11:17 - 15820 of 24230

Yes 'de fences' are strong LOL assuming in the currently wood shortage no-one nicks them ;>)

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 11:55 - 15821 of 24230

They're never strong enough Bunny, the only real defence is avoidance.

JStratford - 11 Jun 2007 13:29 - 15822 of 24230

Or a boat.

stockbunny - 11 Jun 2007 14:27 - 15823 of 24230

I find an escape hatch to the top of the nearest hill is favourable for us warren dwellingers ;>)

JStratford - 11 Jun 2007 15:38 - 15824 of 24230

Talking of flooding... useless information for the day. When surveyed, the majority of Londoners said they would head for the underground stations if they heard sirens, assuming them to be air-raid sirens instead of flood warnings.

Socrates - 11 Jun 2007 15:42 - 15825 of 24230

They would be dead wrong then.

JStratford - 11 Jun 2007 16:02 - 15826 of 24230

Anyone for tea? (or Whiskey, Guiness, etc...)

KEAYDIAN - 11 Jun 2007 16:08 - 15827 of 24230

I'll have a wee dram.
