Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

skids, have to agree with your comments. Like you have said, the fundamentals have not changed except for a positive medium to long term outlook, hence this company is so popular. I also hold and don't see any point in selling.

IMO, as the MM's only ever make their profit when there are buys they are clearly manipulating a thin trading range mainly by adjusting the spread and dropping the bid to trigger investors stop loss limits to sell and create the healthy liquidity of stock for new buyers. As soon as investors cotton on to this and stop selling then we should see more strong buyers out & for holders to be rewarded.

Where is the bad news that could justify the fall in share price?
As is constantly being quoted the fundamentals have not changed, every day that passes is a day nearer the results
Iam happy to hold

Douggie - 31 Mar 2004 16:21 - 1585 of 3104

a lot more shares have been sold than bought this past few weeks so MM'must have a hell of a stocpile now

skids - 31 Mar 2004 16:54 - 1586 of 3104

yeoman has been releasing plenty of good news and the feeling has been pretty good about the company. yet the results release (not bad) has triggered a drop of 20% today! i think cybit is the reverse of this, they don't seem to release much news, they just get on with the job at hand. hopefully the results will bring out a few surprises. watching it day-by-day is certainly frustrating, but it should reward those that are patient IMHO.

I wish Douggie wouldn't be so negative.

I am guessing you hold some CYH shares Douggie? Therefore, why point out the negatives all the time, when mostly they are nothing in the BIGNESS of things.

I know it can feel as though you are banging your head against the wall, but as long as you believe in your investment (which you should do if you have invested), day to day buying and selling should be the least of your worries. If someone sells, then think, "Yeah but a MM has bought!". Therefore, somewhere along the line, someone is buying the shares for a reason. After all, who would want a stock that isn't going to make them money?

The time will come... just let patience... PAY!

money magnet - 01 Apr 2004 01:25 - 1588 of 3104

mdm the mms have to buy off of sellers they are obligated to make a market but i like your optimism. mm's don't hold vast quantities of stock so who is accumulating that is the question ?

Douggie - 01 Apr 2004 10:16 - 1589 of 3104

O.k on a more positive note 10:15 only 3 trades (sells) mabey no one else prepared to sell at this price so come on buyers go for it.. I can't I've no more left it is all in there YES I DO believe in this Co.

neilpos - 01 Apr 2004 10:23 - 1590 of 3104

I don't think the 2.32p trades are sells - comdirect are offering 2.30p sell & 2.32p buy - very tight spread! It is very quiet today though - hopefully pick up again after year end.

jonfish53 - 02 Apr 2004 09:16 - 1596 of 3104

Bit of a mad flurry this morning & someone got a bunch of very cheap shares.

Nitefly - 02 Apr 2004 09:20 - 1597 of 3104

Nothing wrong with pointing out the negs Doug, the drum beating is what wears people down, nice to see a smile.

I think there's a lot carrying paper loses on this one atm (myself included) but as stated many times, it's very unlikely to stay this way. I'm still in buying mode and don't see anything to change my optimism for the future and will continue to snag more at these low prices, whenever I can.

I have found over the last 6/9 months that I have owned several shares that have yo-yo'd in this same fashion. It will catch out the unwary investor but only if they buy/sell during the wrong cycle of the yo-yo. It can and does pay quite nice rewards, played correctly, just dont get in to deep (like I do, lol).

Good Luck all

NF

Still Waiting - 02 Apr 2004 20:54 - 1599 of 3104

Never mind, 6 April should bring some relief as everyone starts to re-invest.

Should have sold start of March with hindsight and bought back in now.

Douggie - 02 Apr 2004 21:15 - 1600 of 3104

new year would bin better

optomistic - 02 Apr 2004 22:37 - 1601 of 3104

Looking at the spread today 14/17% I don't think that the MM's really wanted to trade much today!!
IMHO I think CYH will eventually get going but I am not looking for any early upward move.
lol optomistic

ckmtang - 03 Apr 2004 22:06 - 1602 of 3104
