Galleon Holdings (GON)

banjomick - 15 Jun 2004 08:48

INTELLIGENT INVESTING WITH BANJO,well sort of! (Ed-hmmmm-lol)

Galleon Holdings plc has three key divisions:Galleon Entertainment for entertainment type IP,Croco Worldwide for product IP,Phoenix for interactive TV services for broadcasters in China/South East Asia which includes Robot Information Technology (Lushy Assets ('Yunbo')) who are a wireless interactive platform service provider in China who will work alongside Phoenix to enable GON to hold on to a greater part of the generated revenue and so increase the profit margin......think that's the plan! :-)

This makes Galleon Holdings a 'One Stop Shop' to develop and complete new and existing IP's.

Evening CC,

I'm still holding and haven't sold any shares which I may regret over the coming weeks!

As I've said before, quite a few things don't add up as far as I'm concerned so will just watch for the time being and see what happens.

jkd - 01 Mar 2009 19:05 - 1589 of 1609

bjm
greetings to you.
you have always posted through thick and thin. yep i know what i said but i have changed my mind.
anyway are we to assume your lack of posts reflects your lack of confidence in the company? if so what happened and why?
just wondering if you might be able to explain.
best regards and good luck to you.
regards
jkd

banjomick - 01 Mar 2009 23:34 - 1590 of 1609

Evening jkd,

Hmmmmm,it's more to do with future shareholder value,as in where it's all leading to!

Over the last 4 years GON and the management team have done a splendiferous job since they took over the helm and changed the company around completely.

There are issues or might be issues regarding the Yunbo deal and subsequent payouts in shares which relate to next weeks SP value or somewhere around this time frame.

In my view only-Over the last 6 months or so GON and their holdings have appeared to dilibertly play down the success story which is reflected by todays SP levels.

I haven't been able to find out who ran or now runs Yunbo or Phoenix and the Dragonfruit deals were somewhat, let us say 'strange' again in my view.

The Notice of Results were announced and added to their website on the same day if I remember correctly but the actual Results took a few days before being added to their website but under the heading of 'Final Results' was in fact a copy of the 'Notice of Results' which stayed like that for quite some time as in days!

Other things don't add up too but saying that GON as a company appear to be doing very well and as I've said earlier the management team can't be faulted for turning GON around!

Maybe it's just me confusing myself helped by that lot over the road and in fact it's all part of a bigger picture where shareholders will see 50p plus,at least.

Not as happy about GON as I was which is reflected in my lack of posts but happy to hold and see what happens, just for the hell of it-lol

banjomick - 02 Mar 2009 00:25 - 1591 of 1609

On 23rd October 2007 the Phoenix deal was announced along with 8 million to be raised by a 'placing' at 29p admitted on the 26th October 2007 to further their China/SEA projects.Looked very good to me and the SP reached over the 29p level on speculation alone! Which is the norm.

More deals and Final Results until on 20th February 2008 GON announced the Yunbo deal and with what looks like splendiferous announcements since then to present day!The chart does tell a different story in that it's just not me who has questions!

Like I said I may be reading it all wrong and only time will tell!

banjomick - 25 Mar 2009 12:25 - 1594 of 1609

The AGM is in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping we will see some clarification on the Yunbo deal and size of payment in shares that will be paid out.

There does appear to be a bit of interest lately so it's possible that positive news has leaked out but until things become a lot clearer I'm sitting on the fence clutching my holding......as in shares :-)

Galleon Holdings PLC

Super Soccer Star: Long Term Global Agreement with Chelsea FC

Galleon Holdings plc (AIM: GON), the AIM listed entertainment media company
developing and producing multi-platform properties with a focus on emerging
markets, is delighted to announce that it has strengthened its relationship with
Chelsea Football Club through a long term global agreement with Chelsea Digital
Media, the digital media arm of Chelsea FC. Chelsea is the sports sponsor of
Galleon's Super Soccer Star property.

Under the terms of the agreement, Chelsea FC has committed to be the exclusive
partner to Super Soccer Star across all current and future territories. This
follows the success of the Super Soccer Star format in China, where the show was
the highest rated entertainment show on the Guangdong Sports Channel, and in
Malaysia, where the show increased audience share by nearly 40% for the national
broadcaster, Radio Television Malaysia. The agreement will remain in place for
as long as the property is in the market.

To date Galleon has secured agreements for the territory rights for Super Soccer
Star in Indonesia, Vietnam, India, and the Middle East. It is also currently in
negotiations with Chinese broadcasters for a second series of the show to be
broadcast nationally.

Super Soccer Star is a multi-platform entertainment property which includes a
prime time reality show to find the best football players between 13 and 16
years old. The winner is granted a place to train at the world renowned
Chelsea Academy. The show generates revenues from mobile or landline and online
voting, sponsorship, advertising and branded merchandise.

Commenting on the agreement, Stephen Green, CEO of Galleon Holdings, said:
"In the last month, we have licensed the territory rights for Super Soccer Star
in India, Vietnam and the Middle East. The formalised relationship with
Chelsea will help us to accelerate the international expansion of Super Soccer
Star to create a truly global entertainment brand."

Peter Kenyon, CEO of Chelsea FC, added:
"We are delighted with our partnership with Galleon on Super Soccer Star. The
show is fun and entertaining, and most importantly, it demonstrates Chelsea's
commitment to developing grass roots football around the world."
