that's ceratinly the simple chart reading, though a rather more sophisticated one (Fibonnacci) indicates there should be (some) support at 360 ...... anyway, i shorted a few more at 395, but that was really a bit greedy, but i'll excuse myself as all others were done at 450

I wonder if I was right back in April? Certainly went up before it came down, just a small matter of timing LoL :))

Interesting looking chart from a short perspective, broken strong support at 480, not much at 440, 400 is the level to keep an eye on, falls through there, may well go as low as 240. Quite a good case for a head and shoulders pattern, although slightly skewed. One to keep an eye on.
Having a change of heart Hyleo??

hi kitos ..... hope your charity will indeed not need to start at home! ..... actually, considering the index hammering, SOLA is surprisingly steady

Morning Cyn, LOL, no need to worry about me mate. I get a 100 quid a week pension, so I won't starve ..... plus I got a great 'gal, and a wonderful dog. What more could one ask for.? Money,?, never made me happy when I had a lot, so what can not having it mean at my age.?

Well that was quick to start testing 360p, expect some resistance here, but if it goes it could be brutal.

my little addition yesterday is now quite firmly in the money ...... i don't have a (relative) huge number of these, but if 360 does indeed fail (hard to judge likelihood at the mo) and shares dump a further slab, it will sure soften the impact of the tumble a few of my other stocks have taken .... fortunately 3 of them + SOLA are performing comparatively well today - PXR (steady on t/o story), LEAD (+ fraction), CTH (+7.5) and of course SOLA, which as i write is challenging 360

He'll be here soon, bad penny and all that.

250p like ive said all along is a fair price GH.
You TAers may come to a different conclusion but from a fundies angle this ones only worth 250p and that generous very generous.
kitos ill judged re -entry on the long side yesterday must be hurting him badly. already.

"fair price" often has little effect on sentiment, which is what ultimately drives sp ..... that is why in bull markets, sp can get well ahead of the game and even stay there for a while, while is horrid/bear markets, baby n bath water get thrown out regardless

Works the other way in bear markets cynic as you point out, 250p could turn out to be 150p.

Just a thought but a lot here wont have been into a full blown bear market. (not quite sure it is yet)
The advfn crowd certainly most of them wont have and what makes it worse is that 55% of all deals are on credit terms.
A lot are going to get hurt.
Ive been top slicing 30% off the top on nearlly all my stocks over the last 6 weeks.
