Socrates - 28 Jan 2003 18:46 - 165 of 23498

Golddog - 28 Jan 2003 20:05 - 168 of 23498

Hello there!

Sorry for not been here of late but i have been very busy at the Country Lodge doing some work in the cellar?

8 ball, Yes still trying my red wines, infact im having a tipple now (whatever tipple means?). Will try your Landiras.

Socrates, hello buddy, without saying the name? do you know who vasey is?

olddog, I see you are fitting in here very comfortably, well done.
:-)

Right put the kettle on.

Socrates - 28 Jan 2003 20:22 - 169 of 23498

Good evening GD. Yes I know who vasey is. I'm not sure who I am though.

Golddog - 28 Jan 2003 20:33 - 170 of 23498

Who are you then? How's life on advfn?

btw, I have already said at the country lodge but If someone wants to start a shares cafe thread on advfn or whatever title, then please do so (unless already have?), i really dont mind. I no longer have access to the site since i was banned. I also apologise for ending the Trading game before it even really started (not my fault thou), but hope to run it again in a few weeks here at the tea shop!
:-)

Socrates - 28 Jan 2003 21:10 - 171 of 23498

GD
I'm not worried about the lack of a cafe on advfn. All the best folks are over here now. I still pop in over there but am quite happy here. I was given free access to the PBB but frankly it is not up to much. Very few posts and not much fun at all.

hightone - 28 Jan 2003 21:21 - 172 of 23498

YES hil that was me in the chair meditating (-:

HT.

Golddog - 28 Jan 2003 21:26 - 173 of 23498

Evening Mt HighTone, any horsey tips yet or ney!

Socrates, Not many people over here yet either, although it's very nice like this, feels like an exclusive club.

Care for a glass of chilled wine?

vasey - 28 Jan 2003 21:37 - 174 of 23498

Ah, those magic words ...... Yes, please GD... Glas to see the quality people have wandered in here.

Golddog - 28 Jan 2003 21:39 - 175 of 23498

Glass of Sparkly delight coming your way.

8 Ball - 28 Jan 2003 21:42 - 176 of 23498

Hello all.

GD I did open a Roadside Hot-dog van on ADVFN for people to grad a snack and get directions.

They appear to have got fed up of banning now, someone posted an Arsenal picture on about 30 threads this morning.
I am sure you could go back IF you wanted, but as old socks said most of the best folk are here.....Plus a couple of the others just lately.

8 Ball - 28 Jan 2003 21:46 - 177 of 23498

Tonight I am sampling a bottle of Bergerac, a soft fruity little number 12%, obtained from Tesco's last night as it was cheap, less than 3.

I would give it a 5/10 for taste.......

8 Ball - 28 Jan 2003 21:49 - 178 of 23498

On closer inspection, it appears to be having some kind of chemical reaction with the bottom of my glass.

Very Strange....
