This looks a bit more than the normal MM trick of suckering in new punters am and then dropping the price pm as it extends beyong one trading day. I will not say anything more until a clear new trend is confirmed but the signs are more optimistic than pessimistic at present.

yuff - 06 Jul 2005 12:50 - 1595 of 2262

hi ML
Not sure if it is MM's playing games, was way oversold on SW's selling, but looks like he has finished for the time being.

pachandl - 06 Jul 2005 13:20 - 1596 of 2262

Oops - may have spoken too soon. Massive spread at present but the MMs seem a bit confused by the sudden interest in this share. Very strange.

snappy - 06 Jul 2005 17:00 - 1597 of 2262

deadcat bounce

bin bags at the ready

this looks like the usual retail punters jumping in only to see the share price retrace back to the lows as the market makers pocket large sums from the excessive spread.

still can't bring myself to look over on 3eye

ched444 - 06 Jul 2005 17:31 - 1598 of 2262

i'm still not sure about this one although the recent rises are encouraging, but with all the fun and games that surround it on the boards, it is hard to see the wood from the trees with this. on one hand they have an interesting bunch of products some with great potential but on the other there is the uncertain financial position. the problem is that too many folk are trying to pull the sp around - not just mm's but also posters on here. after all why continually knock a share (as opposed to reasoned comment) unless a) you are playing with spread betting or b) trying to make the share go lower for other reasons or c) hold a strange grudge. i'm no expert but any other reason is just a waste of time when you could be researching other shares. todays rises though are encouraging and i think this is a share still worth watching although with caution. for whats its worth the last IC summary of them was a more balanced affair in my eyes and anyone with access would probably find it interesting.

yuff - 06 Jul 2005 18:18 - 1599 of 2262

ched

Interims tell you exactly where this share is going and the first profit in 20 years is less than 3 months away.

ched444 - 06 Jul 2005 19:38 - 1600 of 2262

yes thats what has made me interested in them again. i do like the idea behind the software aswell though. i just wish there was not all the propaganda around it!

superrod - 07 Jul 2005 07:24 - 1601 of 2262

ive dipped my toe into the dirty tadpole waters again. the volume yesterday cant possibly be just a dcb or "lemmings" piling in. must be more to it than that ( i hope )

Moneylender - 07 Jul 2005 15:13 - 1602 of 2262

Welcome back into the fold Rod.
Wish I had sold when you did and was buying back now, still thats life!
Cant say if there is more to it than a DCB though, TAD appears to be watertight
these days.

strange and sad day, but the show must go on. hard to see where this one is going in these circumstances. some (eg yahoo) have it going up today, while on here its gone down. last few trades appear to be buys though. is this just a return to its 'normal' level of 6p-ish from before those director sells?

Carlsbad, CA, July 08, 2005 Cariboo Regional District, a regional government entity that operates independently of British Columbias provincial government and provides varied services to the region, including fire protection, recreation, library, waste management, utility and other services has selected Tadpole Technology Groups GO! Sync (ArcPad) technology for use in their Invasive Plant Treatment Program.

The regional district has operated an invasive plant control program for more than 20 years. During that time large volumes of paper records, maps and sketches of treatment sites had to be accumulated and manually entered into a database. Recently, the district has implemented an automated process that includes the use of PDAs running ESRIs ArcPad and Tadpoles GO! Sync (ArcPad) software to provide field crews the capability of collecting and mapping critical invasive plant information.

By utilizing Tadpoles GO! Sync (ArcPad) software, field crews simply dock or connect their handheld devices at the end of the day to synchronize data with the central database. In addition, the data is also synchronized between all the mobile devices to support information sharing by field staff.

The use of GO! Sync (ArcPad) streamlines our operation and saves valuable labor hours, said Brad Payne, Cariboo Regional Districts Manager of Information Technology.

GO! Sync continues to prove itself across many sectors using ESRIs ArcPad; stated Don Fryhover, Director of Business Development for Tadpole Technologys Geospatial Solutions Division Cariboo Regional Districts Invasive Plant Treatment Program is another fine example of how GO! Sync can help organizations with critical field mapping operations.

About GO! Sync (ArcPad)

GO! Sync (ArcPad) is a turnkey solution that automates the process of updating GIS data stored on handhelds. GO! Sync synchronizes mapping data between ArcSDE and PocketPC devices whenever docked or on-line. This automated process enables organizations to efficiently share spatial information in support of field operations. By simplifying the process, GO! Sync has become a requirement for organizations implementing ArcPad.

So, just how big is Steig of the Dump's "tax liability"? How much more of his stock will he have to sell? Not all of it, surely?

I think we should be told.

erm, ROTFLMFACB&HO, basically,
must sell some shares for my corporation tax bill on Monday, and get some cash for Xmas too
Mr Steig is only selling TAD shares to pay his taxes, as he has no other savings, or indeed any other shares, perfectly normal (snigger)

olie
how come you come across as almost civilised on the seo thread?

you talk a good fight, so must appreciate that this may be a good time to have a few tads under the bed. always bad /risky to slag a share at its near all time low ( especially a share like tad with its phoenix like properties ). up big time or out for good i say.......a grand invested is not the end of the world if all goes tits up. but every penny up is 200 quid to the good. time will tell and tad knows all about hanging on.

Sequestor - 10 Jul 2005 10:43 - 1610 of 2262

oh, I am exraordinarily civilzed supererr, quite the little Lord Fauntleroy me,nope I wouldn`t touch it with a barge -pole, I only follow it on the side-lines to see the
wind blow out of yuff & cos bums, its hilarious to watch the absolute nonesense they post, as if nobody can read or remember that they bgt. at 5,10, yes and even 20X the present price, never suggest selling, but continue to recommend,
buy and even strong buy as the price falls.
Of course iii is the real place to watch the fun, where director selling becomes a `positive sign`, and prompts them to ramp even more-its` magic.
For a director to add his reasons for selling, as the share price plummets, is even more bizzarre- and they pretend that the fact that it is to pay his tax is (hollow laugh) OK, listen if a director sells, even if its to pay a massive court fine, his alimony, jelly-babies for the kids , or diamonds for his mistress, the reasons are inconsequential he isn`t in it for the long term, a child could add that one up-its fcuked.
