THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Prefer this myself. Cant remember if I've posted this before but you get clips of A-Z movie stars in various states of undress. Just select the letter of the surname and away you go!

Red roses too...
I watch them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world...."

the quality of this thread!

gentlemen you should all be proud of yourselves. I think this thread deserves its own "tab" on the MoneyAM home page. something along the lines of: "Non-financially related drivvle" or "Non FiReD"

jimmy b - 14 Oct 2005 14:55 - 1603 of 81564

prop is this what you would call non financial drivle... What a boring day on the markets...

hewittalan6 - 14 Oct 2005 15:09 - 1604 of 81564

Decided to remove that in case anyone complained it was in bad taste. Even on this thread!!!

bosley - 16 Oct 2005 09:49 - 1605 of 81564

morning. alan, what did you post? very curious now.
went for a lovely meal last night, drinking proper beer, "flat cap" and "bikes, trikes and beer" from bank top brewery. no hangover apart from a furry tongue.

hewittalan6 - 16 Oct 2005 10:00 - 1606 of 81564

Morning Boz,
Love real ale. Something so thick it's technically a soup! Try Theakstons old peculiar at a boozer local to the North Yorks brewery. Its so thick and full of body you could float rocks on it.
The above post was a joke I was told about a certain recently deceased celebrity, but given the recent bannings on the SEO thread, and my baiting of ii, I decided that discretion was the better part of valour!
Alan

bosley - 16 Oct 2005 10:11 - 1607 of 81564

morning alan, theakstons is good. if you see pendle witches brew, try it. bolton is having it's beer festival at the moment , but i haven't been able to get there.
my curiosity is getting the better of me. please could you email me your joke.

hewittalan6 - 16 Oct 2005 10:42 - 1608 of 81564

As Boz is now aware, post 1605 was removed due to taste, decency and the fact that it was crap.

bosley - 16 Oct 2005 11:37 - 1609 of 81564

alan, it wasn't that bad. reply sent.

hewittalan6 - 16 Oct 2005 11:43 - 1610 of 81564

Good e-mail, Boz. Agree with all points. The joke was so bad I wouldn't dare claim responsibilty for it anyway, even if the taste was good!

bosley - 16 Oct 2005 19:53 - 1611 of 81564

arn't prams really clever these days!!!

hewittalan6 - 16 Oct 2005 20:01 - 1612 of 81564

Yeah right, Boz. So what you are saying is it wasn't the model in the picture that attracted you?
