Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Priest in 'indecent images' row at primary school in Pomeroy
An investigation is under way after indecent images were "inadvertently" shown by a Catholic priest during a presentation at a primary school in County Tyrone.
Father Martin McVeigh projected the images onto a screen during a meeting for parents in Pomeroy in preparation for First Holy Communion. One child was also present.

Just watched a 1940s propaganda film, where they were blaming "red tape" , bureaucracy and lack in research for their problems.
History repeats.

An excellent article -
Can computers have true artificial intelligence?
Is it possible to create true artificial intelligence and, if so, how close are we to doing so, asks mathematician Professor Marcus du Sautoy.

Interesting to note that the same people who are telling the public to store volatile fuel in jerrycans at home, have access to a subsidised bar!! Paid for out of our taxes!! How many of you worker bees stroll out of work into a subsidised bar after a days work??The chance of this bunch being re-elected is pretty slim, but it begs the question, who else is there??

Plenty of companies have subsidised bars and restaurants. I have worked for at least ten over the years (not as a permanent employee). All political parties have access to the subsidised bars and restaurants.
They did not tell them to stre the jerrycans 'at home'. They said in a garage. It is quite common for people to store a jerrycan of petrol in their garage for their petrol lawnmower. Tha has been the case for longer than anyone here has lived.

..BSkyB Chairman James Murdoch Steps Down
Sky News – 45 minutes ago....
'Murdoch To Step Down As BSkyB Chairman'
....James Murdoch has resigned as chairman of BSkyB, saying he did not want his position to become a "lightning rod" for the company.
Mr Murdoch stood aside from his role with immediate effect at a board meeting on Tuesday afternoon, but will remain a non-executive director of the company, which owns Sky News.
His departure comes despite receiving backing from BSkyB shareholders, who reappointed him at the company's annual general meeting last November.

Thursday will see seven water companies bring in hosepipe bans as they seek to conserve supplies after two extremely dry winters.
The seven are: Anglian Water, South East Water, Southern Water, Sutton and East Surrey Water, Thames Water, Veolia Water Southeast and Veolia Water Central.
An estimated 20 million homes will be affected by the bans, which will last until October at least in southern England and London.
They will come into effect just days after water firms announced inflation-busting increases in bills for many customers.
Two parts of England are officially in drought - East Anglia and the South East - with parts of Yorkshire set to follow soon unless the situation changes.

BB,
You are worried by subsidised beer.
I would like to see how some of them avoided the 50p tax.

Some tory back benchers feel the same about the cameroon and wish he would do the same.
Many, prefer him to stay a little bit longer.
(Mainly those int the labour party, as he is doing a good job for them.)

It looks as if Boris and Ken are going to have to come clean on their tax arrangements for the last 5 years.
I think it is time this cabinet does likewise.
This could apply to the Labour and LD party as well.
For me. there is a stench around this government more than the expense scandal.
What are tory values for.
