Nearly Opto but it hasnt been helped by my email problem, just a little rub then ta....

snoball - 13 Oct 2004 16:48 - 15973 of 23498

Re all these email problems.
I use tesco.net and they have been blocked by Microsoft since they were bought by NTL. This means I can't send any emails to any Microsoft address. I've had to set up a hotmail account in order to stay in contact with my family who use Microsoft.

Maybe this is what is happening with MAM/amberjane/and others.

Socrates - 13 Oct 2004 16:49 - 15974 of 23498

Good afternoon, lousy morning though.

snoball - 13 Oct 2004 16:51 - 15975 of 23498

Not such a good afternoon here Socs. It's been chucking it down.

Socrates - 13 Oct 2004 17:17 - 15977 of 23498

Thanks Bunny. See you later.

Fundamentalist - 13 Oct 2004 17:18 - 15978 of 23498

I see weve all had email failure today - Ian i seem to be lucky and am receiving my emails. Also, did Ian really mean moneyam.CON ???????

Priscilla - 13 Oct 2004 18:09 - 15979 of 23498

Well spotted Fundy! So typical! It's what blokes do when they don't want you anymore. They give you the wrong contact details/change their mobile number/say their email is fine; it must be YOUR ISP! etc... Anything to avoid irate women calling them at work and their work colleagues sniggering at their discomfort.

First thing tomorrow Ian'll be saying, 'Sorry, Amber. You were right. We do seem to have a communication problem and it is something I have to deal with but don't feel bad. It's not you. It's me. I'll be in touch when I'm over it but I don't know how long that'll be, but I will ring you, honestly!'

I'm looking forward to the exchanges between 'Love Rat' and 'Livid' tomorrow. Should be a busy day for the Moderators!

jeffmack - 13 Oct 2004 18:13 - 15980 of 23498

Priscilla
Sounds like you get knocked back often, surely not!

amberjane - 13 Oct 2004 19:41 - 15981 of 23498

Think Ian will be apologising in the morning....think he's sorted the blockage, 6 came all at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so no fights sorry, we'll have kissed and made up by morning, trouble is it may cost him though if I blame the trade i did on his delay?????????????????????????????

Kayak - 13 Oct 2004 19:43 - 15982 of 23498

snoball, that explains it, I guess MoneyAM must use tesco.net :-)

Kayak - 13 Oct 2004 19:46 - 15983 of 23498

On the subject of wrong contact details, over the past couple of years I have taken at least three calls from women looking for a man, and they had the right telephone number but couldn't believe he didn't live here. You can fill in the rest of the story, man meets woman at night club, one night stand follows, they exchange telephone numbers in the morning, but she wasn't good in bed :-)

brockman - 13 Oct 2004 22:04 - 15984 of 23498

Or the cheque bounced :o)
