slow moves (CMR)

hangon - 14 Mar 2007 16:53

I've been excited by this one, well at agm's - but noithing seems to prop up their own words. A 4% rise today is noise-level but welcome. What we need is so shiny metal, not pictures of rocks, or forests. This is meant to be a Gold co and all we hear is radio ga-ga.....................

hangon - 16 Jul 2007 11:53 - 16 of 69

Oilyrag, anyone - Warrants - are these available on the open market? - I couldn't find any in moneyam. ( Camb Min)
If these are long-term(2009, say), they could be another way of playing this stock and/or holding-back the sp!....just wondering....thanks.

oilyrag - 16 Jul 2007 18:08 - 17 of 69

Hangon, the warrants were only availiable and attached to the last placement. Idont think they are tradeable.

mcmahons - 17 Jul 2007 16:38 - 18 of 69

Nice steady flow of buys the last 3 days and seems to be picking up today.
looking good. A bit of good news which is very likely based on what they have on their plate and who knows.

mcmahons - 17 Jul 2007 18:06 - 19 of 69

As per my previous post 'who knows' !!!

huxley - 17 Jul 2007 20:36 - 20 of 69

suspended due to change of adviser & broker???

seems a bit of an extreme action considering its changed its adviser/brokers previously without suspension.

mcmahons - 17 Jul 2007 23:50 - 21 of 69

In deed-e perhaps good rather than bad. If I say bad perhaps good !!
Penny Shares ' the horror of it all' !

mcmahons - 25 Jul 2007 09:22 - 22 of 69

AGM Statement
Reserves and Resources in-situ value - $16.26 billion.
Solid explanation and responce from company today.

oilyrag - 26 Jul 2007 07:34 - 23 of 69

Prehaps the broker and adviser change has something to do with the recent placement. 2 warrants for every share seems very cheap.

mcmahons - 27 Jul 2007 16:04 - 24 of 69

Very likely

oilyrag - 31 Jul 2007 08:50 - 25 of 69

Back with a bang.

mcmahons - 31 Jul 2007 09:10 - 26 of 69

fingers crossed looking good

hangon - 01 Aug 2007 19:57 - 27 of 69

Oilyrag I agree and until there is some extracted metal being sold, this is like any other prospect: - jam tomorrow.
It is the reason IMHO why any Placing is likely to be ( NOT ) in PI's favour.
The recent return from suspension caused excitement only amongst the Brokers and MM's who hoped we;d fall over ourselves....

hangon - 06 Aug 2007 17:27 - 28 of 69

Placing has gone through at 3p plus some warrants,

mcmahons - 09 Aug 2007 08:55 - 29 of 69

Quintana gold mine
15,000 ounces of gold a year
Colombian project expected to become operational in six months.

hangon - 11 Sep 2007 16:11 - 30 of 69

Yes, yes it all looks OK to me on the basis that "if good" it will be very good. PI's can't fund the mining operation; so there has to be a choice - go it alone with some dilution (yes the Warrants are a pain!),
OR
sell the stakes for a pittance, since only proven mines attract a premium.
OR
involve investors, which we are told is "costly" - mainly because the Regulations and hangers-on want to be well-paid.
IF CMR comes good, then we shall reap the rewards of many years gradual build-up.......so that's why I'm sticking with my investment now (currently down a tad), only when they start to come good will I stroke my investment - sure, this means I won't get all the up-side - but it also limits the down-side - if they went under 1p to buy, ( maybe due to floods, etc.).....I might add some more.

oilyrag - 25 Sep 2007 09:39 - 31 of 69

CURRENTLY TRADING BELOW THE LAST FLOAT PRICE. 2.88P TO BUY.

oilyrag - 25 Sep 2007 09:48 - 32 of 69

2.75P TO BUY.

hangon - 02 Oct 2007 14:10 - 33 of 69

Is CMR now ( just months after a Fund-raising), asking for more money?
Grief, you'd think they'd just discovered another vein of gold - but no, this new money would appear to be needed to start mining, for real.

Er, I thought CMR was spreading themselves a bit thin - but this is now at sub-atomic levels . . . . .yet the expenses appear to be based on . . . . . acrage perhaps?

I'm turning from being well-satisfied - to rather cross -
(The "spread" is also looking rather terrific.)
Grr.

If further funding is needed then it's unlikely to be at 3p - new investors will want to be sure they aren't diluted within the next year and may be looking at 2p - - so whatever the sp I'm keeping my powder dry. Let's first have some metal-sales!

Ultimate Cynic - 02 Oct 2007 15:02 - 34 of 69

Agree hangon. Sold 100,000 yesterday @ 2.3p and another 50,000 today @ 2.375.
Still holding 100,000 but well cross like you. I bought at near 5p.
UC.

oilyrag - 29 Oct 2007 10:21 - 35 of 69

If Electrum have to buy 50,000's worth of shares at an average of 6p does this mean that the market makers will have to push the price up to this. If so then this is a doubler almost immediately.
