Whilst appreciating the site is not very busy at this time - it takes a while to get things going but if you let the likes of the advfn gang of gravy/ollie/neo/snappy and their various aliases to bully other posters - you will eventually arrive at advfn fbb 11 ...... maybe that is what you want but it's not what you originally stated in your conditions of use.

I am all for free speech but the people mentioned should not be allowed to continuously abuse other posters .... this is a financial bb not a forum for a few peeps to carry out a childish vendetta.

The gravy style of abuse would never be tolerated in a pub - club or any other public place ..... gravy is sheltering behind an anonymous nickname and assumes he is immune from the normal social niceties or even the laws of libel/slander.

It seems to me that gravy and his friends have an obsession with me ..... if they kept to talking about the shares or what I actually say - no one would mind.

gravy just keeps on and on and on with the same abusive posts

1. anyone who agrees with anything I say is called an ainsoph alias

2. according to gravy every share I talk about has gone down 99% and I supposedly bought at the top and endlessly averaged down until they hit the 1%. He never says what I do at that point, or how I get the money to keep averaging down from the top without ever selling

3. If a share goes up he immediately comes on and talks about other shares where I have supposedly lost 99% or claims I bought at the top X years ago

4. If he starts to lose any argument with any poster who points out the error of his ways he then calls me a racist and/or a child or animal abuser

5. gravy always recalls some past situation which goes back long before bb's were first invented and claims I ramped a share (often before it actually existed)

6. gravy invokes the idea that everyone posts against me by quoting his many aliases and/or friends .,.... duh

7. When all else fails he calls other posters sad and goes on about how much (he thinks) they have lost

I could go on with one or two others but I do have a life to get on with and you can all see obvious examples of his style just on this thread without looking elsewhere. .....

Virtually all abusive and irritating non share related posts on this bb are either originated by gravy and his friends or are replies to his posts.

Freedom of speech is something a lot of people have fought and some died for ...... I cannot imagine it was gravy they were thinking about at the time. He should be banned or made to post on his own threads only - where they would receive the contempt he deserves ....

Maybe people should have to pay some token amount by plastic to ensure that freedom of speech is there for those that really believe in it

Gravey1. We've been doing a general program of abuse on the FBB and on checking your previous incarnation it was decided to bar it as we have such ID's as KD C and .kdc, amougst a general selection of other IDs.
You were not barred because KDC complained to ADVFN.
If you wish to be allowed to continue to post on the FBB, then you will have to stop generally attracting yourself to our attention. The best way to do this is to 'turn it down.'

Oh talking of free speech, honesty , etc.,the registration process on this bb asks if you are a professional, ainsoph freely admits he does no other work than posting on bb`s and trading , he has many screens several market research " weapons", and de facto is a professional trader,of that their is NO doubt, oh and he ramps a lot.
Personally I have no problem with that, but it an insult to the intelligence of other users to pretend that he is just a Joe-punter, he thrives on the oxygen of bb publicity, and again it is condescending to be told that his "friends " merely by accident are in constant contact, and support him by any means they view as proper.
Again thats ok by me, but the position he and his , lets say "friends" have taken up must open them to more than the normal barracking given out to the amateurs, indeed Tom Winfrith was barracked off ADVFN for the very same reasons that ainsoph is treated here,crap tips, its part of the job.
Let him admit on his CV to being a professional, leaving himself open to the
