Chelford certainly seem to have turned the corner and i'm eager to see what the results vll be like in mid-march and whether they vll now begin to climb back to it's old share price.. i hold some ..dyor

here are the news of the new contracts shown on the company website ...interestibgly these not released to stock exchange via rns etc

1.
Oncura Ltd, a joint venture between Amersham International and Galil, two of the UK's leading medical equipment companies, are to rollout SAP internationally. Oncura will be implementing Smartstart for Healthcare Distributors, Chelford SAP Solutions' All-in-One vertical solution, which has been designed specifically for companies operating in the Healthcare Distribution market. The project will cover the US and the UK with further international countries being connected in. The contract was signed in December 2003 with the initial UK go live planned for April and the US for July. Chelford SAP Solutions will be managing the whole SAP rollout and providing both software and implementation services and support. The system is being hosted by Digica UK Ltd in the UK.

Oncura provides a global presence in the treatment of prostate cancer, offering physicians and patients a broad choice of minimally invasive treatment options for use in individuals with early, as well as more advanced and recurrent stages of prostate cancer. It also offers the option of cryotherapy for the treatment of kidney cancer.

2.
Famous Confectionery Brand the latest SSI customer
Foxs Confectionery has recently signed contracts with SSI to install a 25-user TROPOS system to cover all business operations. The company will be using SSI's experience in this industry sector to ensure they are operational on the new system in a very short timescale.

3.
Primafruit Chooses SAP
Evesham-based importer and distributor Primafruit has agreed a deal with SAP and Chelford SAP Solutions to replace its IT business systems with SAP.

The project will take some 10 months to complete and will see existing planning, operations and financial systems superseded.

The aim is to ensure Primafruit delivers least cost, best availability and best quality to customers using e-business innovation and "leading-edge planning and optimisation tools", the company said in a statement issued jointly with the Chelford group.

Chelford Expertise
Sean Foy, operations director at Primafruit, said: "We knew that SAP offered the best solutions available, but we knew that implementation was often very difficult for smaller businesses with limited IT resources. We searched long and hard for a partner that was able to help us implement SAP and found Chelford had all of the characteristics that we were looking for. Chelford is not only an expert in SAP systems but also the only company we found that was able to understand the intricacies of the fresh produce industry and speak our language."

SAP New Approach
A leading business software company, and partner to many of the world's largest companies, a new approach from SAP to small and medium-sized businesses has meant that companies such as Primafruit have access to SAP solutions.

Chelford Experience
Trevor Lewis, Chelford group ceo, said: "We are delighted to have won the Primafruit contract. Chelford has significant experience in the food and drink sector and is focused on supporting its customers operating in fast-moving, highly regulated environments driven by the increasing demands of the multiples."

SueHelen,
Is that figure cast in stone? Is it from Chelford? Not doing too well today are we!
sw

SueHelen - 05 Mar 2004 14:38 - 26 of 159

I have no position at the moment but had a position after their trading statement at a price of 1.6 pence. Sold out quite a while back around 2.3 pence.

That date has been given by the company and you can ring up as well and will give you the same date.

It is good that we know when the results will be coming and I intend to build a position in these again prior to that week when the interest should be gathering pace again.

About the drop today, I can't comment as I have not been following it.

Best Wishes.

bosley - 05 Mar 2004 14:45 - 27 of 159

i would imagine the recent drop is just profit taking , people like suehelen ( not that im being disrespectful, sue) .

robstuff - 05 Mar 2004 15:45 - 28 of 159

Good buying opp as I think this share has got a long way to go. Anyone care to guess the profit fig?

robstuff - 05 Mar 2004 15:48 - 29 of 159

as I speak, most the buys for the day just come in last half hr, now more than sells, price should bounce tomorrow...I may pick up more quick

robstuff - 05 Mar 2004 15:49 - 30 of 159

just topped up another 50k at 2.47, good price I hope.

iamole - 05 Mar 2004 16:14 - 31 of 159

I am watching this company with interest as i believe it may get written about in one of the shares mags before the results in few weeks. I have noticed with many co's looking to break into profit, the penny share quides and investor magazines pick up on it and recommend before the results or shortly afterwards, attracting a rise in price as their readers buy the shares and thus their tip is self fulfilling and they say that since tipped it's gone up so many percent. The p/e ratio may look attractive if profits come in over 1m but unsure if that's possible this time, but contracts are in pipeline and could pay off this yr, i think a reasonable target may be 5p. I may buy some next week, any clues as to likely profit????

kantona - 05 Mar 2004 17:39 - 32 of 159

me too topped with around another 300k shares at 2.47 with td waterhouse ... i thought it was a good price as i was happy to buy them at the quoted 2.6p .. the only reason i think of the shares dropping a bit today is that many were expecting an earlier date for the results. i.e mid-march so i assume people would have had to close some of the long t10 etc and look to open fresh opens to coincide with the date of results.

or it could be that some one knows the exact details of the results and perhaps they may not be as good as expected.

i personally believe in the latter and think due to people covering positions ..hence topped with ..sometimes you have to follow your conviction ..

looking forward to the results. i hold loads now !! dyor

Baughfell - 05 Mar 2004 19:01 - 33 of 159

Bit of a strange one today, the price started to fall on virtually no sales and it has been solid for some time. I agree in part with Kantona that this is due to the fact that the results were expected in mid-March (and now it will be the 26th) but also the MMs need to drum up some business as it has been very quiet. A number of posters here and elsewhere have said they will buy in the run-up. At the end of today buys well outweighed sales. I too topped up at 2.47p and think this will look very good business in a week or two.

jules99 - 07 Mar 2004 23:57 - 34 of 159

been away, Hopefully i hven't missed anything...Results this month at least the date is sure now, my target and expectations for chelford remains as high as...

If the results are as mangments statement in Jan, then expect a highs, overall per ratio chelford will pay off handsomely, down the line, 10p would be a dream come true...I thank the others watching and posting any new info on Chelfords performance and news...

HAPPY DAYS NOT FAR OFF NOW!!!!!
