lex1000 - 03 Jun 2004 00:30

Excellent speculative punt sub 10p.

lex1000 - 18 Jan 2005 20:21 - 16 of 84

Interesting large trades showing up @ 13.5p which possibly went through the other day not recorded until today. Volume 1,157,541 suggests something is happening.NMS=15,000. Chart looks to me as might push higher and may have rumour leaking out of China,Brazil or even both.Australia suffering from water shortage and laggard in the news stakes. Brazil gold and tantalum play is the more likely and need look no further than RNS dated 16 December 2004 "..........The sixty-nine gold assays that have been received to date have justified the board's optimism for the project.Tantalum and further gold assays are awaited. On the basis of the results received to date, the Company has applied for further licences in neighbouring areas........." Better than usual definition of a mine, hole in the ground with a liar standing at the top.Watch this space. Speculative and potential very exciting IF.........................R=14p Br=15p.imho.

ex-CEO of AGU was prophesing 2+ over 3 years ago. ALL BS IMO but he did manage to personally convince a couple of friends of mine at the time! Basically the demand for Tantalum back then in 2001/2 was far greater than it is today, I'm sad to report! However if they make a decent strike one day then a realistic target is probably 50p. topps IMHO. But if I can recoup most of my original stake then I'll be happy enough on this one. Hope I'm wrong, of course!

Best of luck.

Kus.

Chinapete - in answer to your question at the end of 9 of 17 this stock was tipped a week or so ago by Tom Bulford of The Red Hot Trader "expecting news from A&R exciting Mato Grosso prospect in Brazil before too long" with a short term price target of 20p

Interesting developments for AGU:

Angus & Ross PLC

12 January 2006

Completion of Black Angel pre-feasibility study

Economic case established for re-opening the mine

Global warming exposes 'massive sulphide' ore body visible on surface

Up-side potential to be established by 2006 drilling programme

Angus and Ross plc announces that mining consultancy Wardell Armstrong
International (WAI) Limited has completed a pre-feasibility study of the
potential of its Black Angel zinc lead project in Greenland, ahead of a planned
intense drilling programme in the 2006 season.

Commenting on the report, Chairman Robin Andrews said:

'The report establishes the economic case for re-opening the Black Angel mine.
There is further substantial potential in the area and we look forward with
anticipation to a successful conclusion to the 2006 exploration programme.'

The study establishes an economic case for reopening of the mine, based on
proven mineable ore reserves of 1.7 Mt of 9.7% zinc, 3.1% lead and 21g/t silver
contained largely in the pillars of the old mine. Using current metal prices
this base case indicates a commercial project with a Net Present Value of
US$52M (using a 10% discount rate) and an IRR of 35%.

The study also highlights the potential for finding additional ore in the
vicinity of the mine. If an additional 1.3 Mt of mill feed at similar grades
can be identified, this would result in the project NPV increasing to US$189M
with an IRR of 56%.

Wardell Armstrong International reports that:

'There are significant and encouraging signs that satellite deposits and mine
resources can provide additional ore for extraction. A re-interpretation of
the regional geology of Black Angel mine and the SouthLakesregion may lead to
additional tonnage from satellite deposits being sourced. The project has a
favourable outlook.'

The company is currently planning a drilling programme in order to delineate
the additional tonnage, having the advantage of records from 160,000 metres of
previous drilling. The prime targets include a significant outcrop of massive
sulphide ore uncovered over the last 15 years as the South Lakes glacier
retreated over 250m - a result of global warming - as well as six other
showings of ore. Grab samples from this outcrop returned grades of 32% zinc and
20% lead.

queen1 - 13 Jan 2006 14:50 - 30 of 84

Up 26% on today's news.

markusantonius - 18 Jan 2006 01:55 - 31 of 84

About time too, Queeny! BTW are we still friends after last year's banter on a different thread? :o)

queen1 - 18 Jan 2006 09:54 - 32 of 84

That would depend on whether or not you manage to get my name right I guess.

markusantonius - 01 Mar 2006 00:35 - 33 of 84

Apologies, your Royal Highness! But what's in a name, after all, dear?

queen1 - 01 Mar 2006 09:15 - 34 of 84

Now I've heard of quick-witted replies but 6 weeks for that???!!!

markusantonius - 01 Mar 2006 23:06 - 35 of 84

Well you normally email me privately, Queenie (with a torrent of derogatory personal insults) but I notice you have withdrawn your contact details for some particular reason...??? Anyway "better late than never!", your RH, as they say. :o)
