Add in the current forecasts , explosion in internet shopping witnessed this Christmas plus the imminent break up of the Royal Mail monopoly and voila !

Dil - 23 Sep 2005 16:19 - 16 of 23

Interesting title to this thread, ... how far is this gonna drop? There isn't a more screaming short on the LSE for me.

Dil - 21 Oct 2005 20:32 - 18 of 23

Looks good for 300p.

partridge - 14 Nov 2005 17:38 - 19 of 23

Now starting to look interesting - although I thought that about NLR at 710p. Balance sheet in decent shape and newer business operations growing sales/profits nicely. Small change for FedEx if they did want to go for it, but maybe safer to wait a bit longer.Always DYOR.

scimitar - 18 Nov 2005 11:37 - 20 of 23

A number of Director share purchases reported for 16 November [see below]. Price now seems to be settling out around 328p. Fundamentals look good and surely the fall in price in response to Peter Kane's two statements re reduced profit expectation is overdone? The company is still profitable, just a bit less so. Also, one of the main costs, fuel, is falling again, so that should help bottom line, and improve call for their services, as economy overall responds. Worth watching this closely as a buy opportunity.

partridge - 06 Jan 2006 19:08 - 21 of 23

Took a modest position in November at 333p, initially looked a mistake, but happy to stay for medium term. Frenzied activity last couple of days suggests something afoot - will watch weekend press and ealy activity next week with interest.
