I feel quite disenchanted with sfx! I was hoping for more contract wins to be announced but am sure there still under negotiation.
The expansion into more Malls is significant attaining 300m footfall. That kind of market reach is bound to have potential advertisers foaming at the mouth!
Im dug in for the long term on these ones I feel the profits will come through next year very strong. The orders will be based on multi year contracts with the company having little overheads.
The use of BT for support should provide a cost effective service. The safety net with these shares is they quite prone to be taken over by big advertisers. Im sure they are keeping a close eye on scren fx as its becoming extremely hard to find a effevtive medium to target customers.
I feel optimistic that they will not need shares issue due to their cashin hand. If they dont require a further dilution the share is poised to move significantly with any contract wins. Anybody getting in at this level like you skyhigh are sure to make on these, unfortunately im gonna have to average my holding down or sit tight on these for long term.........

Not only that but tipped as a buy in this month's RHPS. Wouldn't always be taken in by RHPS tips... however, SFX demonstrated with yesterday's news that deals/good news is being regularly released... get in quick I say! (imho)

Don't know why but bought 50k of these this am (shows as a sell), MMs had ticked the price up looking for suckers like me! Have a gut feeling that there is something to offer here, don't follow me though - unless you like a real gamble!!

Could be adding them to my capital gains offset next year! I don't know where this company is in competition with Avanti Screenmedia, who are going from strength to strength, but if they become a bit of a nuisance as far as ASG are concerned then maybe they might snap them up. SFX's balance sheets make for x rated reading but they are still relatively young, getting good contracts and heading towards trading themselves in to a not half bad position.....but then again, shit happens!

I see that Titan Outdoor Limited are to take The Maiden Group over at 20p cash per share:-
Wed 15 Mar 2006
MAIDEN (MDN), the outdoor advertising group, has agreed to be taken over after conceding it would become insolvent without the deal.
Titan Holdings, which provides billboard, telephone kiosk and street banner advertising in North America and Ireland, has offered to pay 49.6 million for Maiden, including 39m of debt. Banks refused to increase lending facilities to Maiden in February.
It operates advertising sites at more than 500 railway stations in the UK, while it also has a strong presence at supermarkets and shopping malls.
I'm not suggesting that SFX could become a target for Titan......but who knows?!

There's life in this one yet... losses should start to subside as revenues increase. They now have more cash in place to support the business in the short/med term.. good time to buy in / top up ! (imho)

A lot of new shares to be soaked up, but I have to admit that the prospects look a lot better now, was on the verge of dumping SFX but now hanging on: the company is growing.

On the back of this investment programme
we are already beginning to see the benefits in 2006 with an order book well in
excess of last year's turnover. We view the future with considerable optimism

IDEASFACTORY PREMIERES FIRST FILM FESTIVAL ON A TRAIN
Channel 4s IDEASFACTORY, in conjunction with Screen FX, will make movie history by launching the worlds first film festival to take place on board a train.
The Rolling Stock Short Film Festival will see 78 Central Trains carriages in the West Midlands being transformed into moving cinemas throughout April.
FILM Birminghams Director, Suzie Ralph, who is launching the first Rolling Stock train from New Street Station this week, thinks its a fantastic idea, Through this festival, IDEASFACTORY have come up with a brilliant new way of showcasing film. Birmingham has always been a city of innovators and film pioneers this is another example of how we are leading the way in finding creative, original ways of bringing film to a new audience.
Around 70 shorts, produced by both first time and professional film makers from as far a field as Australia and Hong Kong to Wolverhampton, will be screened during the four week event to an audience of over 70,000 passengers. The films will be shown through the network of on-board televisions introduced by Screen FX in December 2005.
Dan Jones, Editor of IDEASFACTORY West Midlands said: The Rolling Stock Short Film Festival is a unique opportunity to showcase new and established talent to a huge travelling audience. We hope that the inspirational schedule will provide some welcome entertainment for our travelling audience on their daily commute.
Stephen Ollier, Chief Executive of Train FX (the train operating division of Screen FX) said: We are delighted to be working with Channel 4 IDEASFACTORY on this interesting initiative. Im sure this film festival will reach more viewers than most.
Steve Banaghan, Managing Director for Central Trains, said: The TVs on trains have proved very popular with our passengers and we are pleased to support the worlds first film festival on a train.
Passengers will be able to text-vote for their favourite film throughout the festival, with the most popular shorts taking home a cash prize and filmmaking equipment courtesy of Casio. Voters also have the chance to win a one month rail pass each week during the festival.
