Sorry to be so stupid. But could someone explain, simply, how this differs from the current chart package? I pay Level 2 and Monthly Terminal subscription.

supermum - 27 Mar 2006 20:04 - 17 of 124

its a charting package... not just a peek at charts which is currently available with any current subscription
you can do the whole 9 yards on it.. I love it..
I'll be posting all my static charts from it from now on
;-)

Looks like a good bit of kit to me!

MightyMicro - 27 Mar 2006 20:54 - 19 of 124

Maggot:

It's more a competitor to something like ShareScope EOD, I think. You should probably judge it on that basis. Personally, I like it.

Haystack - 27 Mar 2006 21:38 - 20 of 124

I have tried the demo and it is very good. I use Sharescope and it is similar, but this is easier to use I think.

supermum - 27 Mar 2006 22:14 - 21 of 124

its different... with a good few more toys for the chart ...

Andy - 27 Mar 2006 22:27 - 22 of 124

Does it have the data minig like sharescope please?

I am unable to subscribe due to only having access on work pc's this week, so am unable to have a look.

My criticism of Sharesope is that you have to download the data every day, presumably this doesn't involve that?

Piptrader - 27 Mar 2006 22:52 - 23 of 124

Andy - according to the FAQs, it works in exactly the same way as Sharescope, in that you have to click 'Update Data' to retrieve outstanding data. But, as with Sharescope, you don't have to update daily - you can do it when you want.

supermum - 27 Mar 2006 23:07 - 24 of 124

you have to update at the end of every day for uptodate info!
and it does not data-mine like Sharescope but it does allow you access to upto date prices and news via the MAM site.. which SS doesn't let you do

Andy - 27 Mar 2006 23:16 - 25 of 124

piptrader, supermum,

thanks for your replies.

What happens if you can't update the data some days, will it all load at once when you next access the system?

So this costs 10 per month, and you save the Moneyam 5 per month monthly fee?

supermum - 27 Mar 2006 23:19 - 26 of 124

yes... will get it up to date ....
and it is a completely seperate subscription from your normal MAM one - as I understand it!

Jules - 27 Mar 2006 23:28 - 27 of 124

evening all
can honestly say that this charting package is superb. Find it much clearer than sharescope and like all the drawing toys:-)

Haystack - 28 Mar 2006 00:45 - 28 of 124

Cheaper than Sharescope!

10 against 14!

StonyB - 28 Mar 2006 01:38 - 29 of 124

Hmmm... Spooky...

IanT(MoneyAM) - 28 Mar 2006 07:29 - 30 of 124

Just been through this thread and it seems that a lot of the questions posed after hours last night have been answered, but if I have missed your question, please let me know and I will answer it,

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 28 Mar 2006 07:41 - 31 of 124

Andy,

In answer to one of your questions, if you can't update the data for some time, when you next open the product you just need to click on update data and it will pull in all the missing data.

Piptrader,

The if you sign up for Simply Chart, you will not be able to use a username that is already used on MoneyAM - therefore you would not be able to use Piptrader. The login you subsequently chose for Simply Chart will be the one that allows you premier access on MoneyAM

supermum - 28 Mar 2006 08:48 - 33 of 124

RUPIE - 28 Mar 2006 08:59 - 34 of 124

Ian
If I subscibe to Simple Chart can I make any adjustement to my Active subsciption?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 28 Mar 2006 09:01 - 35 of 124

Rupie,

Unfortunately not, Simply Chart is a seperate subscription. The 10 per month/110 per year is the cost of the package, the premier access is a free add on, and can not be offset against any other level of Sub.
