Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

The problem is that the masses are being manipulated by a minority for the benefit of the minority.
Which just goes to demonstrate the twisted conspiratorial way your mind works

So, one person can spew hatred
and the other can object to hatred and accuse the perpetrators - though you may believe unfairly - of promulgating hate
and you apply moral equivalence to both the hater and the person who hates hatred..........?
May I respectfully ask you to re-consider that?

Reconsidered - as respectfully requested.
Conclusion respectfully unchanged.
A single issue fundamentalist is what he is, whatever side of the fence he happens to live on. And that's a nutcase.
It's a shame - because I believe you can tone your message down to the point where it reasonable and may even be well received. I don't think fahel can.

In the the land of the Bumbley Boo
The People are red white and blue,
They never blow noses,
Or ever wear closes,
What a sensible thing to do!
In the land of the Bumbley Boo
You can buy Lemon pie at the zoo;
They give away foxes
In little Pink Boxes
And Bottles of Dandylion Stew.
In the land of the Bumbley Boo
You never see a Gnu,
But thousands of cats
Wearing trousers and hats
Made of Pumpkins and Pelican Glue!
Chorus
Oh, the Bumbley Boo! the Bumbley Boo!
That's the place for me and you!
So hurry! Let's run!
The train leaves at one!
For the land of the Bumbley Boo!
The wonderful Bumbley Boo-Boo-Boo!
The Wonderful Bumbley BOO!!!

Fair enough :-)
I don't know if you think I'm the nutcase, but I feel just as passionately about many issues of injustice including Darfur and the way many Muslims are treated in their own countries.
And I've said before I don't agree with many policies of the Israeli government or the way Palestinians are sometimes treated, but unlike a bunch on here I don't hate Jews, Muslims or anybody else. Every person is an individual who is not responsible for the actions of their government.
But I do loathe those who are consumed with hatred.

If you like Spike Milligan you can't be all bad.

No. It hadn't occured to me that you were posting on other boards. I was wondering how many phrases began that way.
Maybe you could spot the relevance of this

The mistake you make, In the Land of B, is to assume that anyone who slightly disagrees with you is 'consumed with hatred'. Most people are not at the extremes like you and fahel. Most people might be swayed by logical argument. Telling them that they are cosumed with hatred, jew-haters and obsessional hate filled conspiracy theorists does not count as logical argument. That might conceivably apply to fahel but not to the rest of us.

Logical argument and deeply held emotional views are incompatible so discussing with the likes of fahel and fred is futile.
I only see fahel and fred as being 'consumed with hatred', kayak, though I have grave doubts about haymaker too. Everybody else seems reasonable and I respect their views even if disagreeing with them. They simply have opinions, not hatreds.

I think only 'fehel' may fit the 'consumed with hatred' tag. Fred is just misguided. He is that way about many things, so it fits the pattern. One of my favoutite authors is Louis Ferdinand Celine. He was accused of being anti-Jewish as he often wrote anti-Jewish literature. What people failed to understand at the time was that he didn't hate Jews. He hated everyone, so naturally Jews were included. His anti-Jewish literature is not the reason that I like his writing though. Fred is closer to the Celine model.
I am not sure what your motivation is apart from trying to muddy the waters and stop criticism. There seems to be more hatred in your posts than the sum of all the posts on this thread.

Hays - that's the pullitzer prize winning photo record of the naming ceremony for a london cathedral, some place out near damascus.
Shot on Kodachrome 400ASA f16 with a slow shutter. No flash. Think the photographer was Carry Verjario. Something like that.
Back to Spike.

It is a picture of St Paul's Road to Damascus Conversion. I thought he had received the same blinding flash (Maybe it was taken on flash then)

I guess that nice Herr Hitler was ok because he hated everybody (not just Jews) except der Volk.
Of course once you realise that you can really settle in and enjoy Mein Kampf.
Do you rationalise everything?
And you call Israel a "rogue" state..........take the sunglasses off and buy yourself a mirror.

A Road to Damascus Conversion' is used in common parlance outside the domain of religion. It is often used for politicians who conveniently change their views on a subject. I used it in relation to you in a similar vein. It is unlikely that i would use religion to support my argument as I have such a low opinion of it.

Mr Hitlerr was not an author of the same stature of Celine. Celine was one of the most influencial authors of the last century. He was the forerunner of the technique of stream of couciousness writing and invented the ... in the middle of sentences. If Hitler was an oustanding author then I might read him. An author's views don't detract from their writing ability. I was brought up a Catholic by Jesuit priests, but I read authors who are anti-Catholic. I am part Irish and would read anti-Irish authors. I am unlikely to raed actual anti-Irish, anti-Catholic, anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim or anti-group literature as it would probably be very boring. I have read a small amount of Mein Kampf and it seems to be mainly rubbish.
