jeffmack - 01 Jul 2003 20:17 - 1614 of 23498

plenty out there to choose from Socs. I suggest you register with 2-3. And open a spreadbet account so you can be a dreaded shorter

hilary - 01 Jul 2003 21:03 - 1615 of 23498

Hightone,

Don't worry ....... I'm not stupid enough to short GBG.

Littlewillie,

If you get to read this before you leave ......... have a great trip.

Socs,

Contrary to Jeff's suggestion, I'm not so sure that you really want to be opening a spreadbetting account. It's a risky business. I recall many moons ago a comment from a very good friend who happened to be a Vice President of a major US investment bank. His words were ....... "Remember. No margin calls Hil!!" Stick to basics and I'm sure you'll do just fine.

hightone - 01 Jul 2003 21:37 - 1616 of 23498

Why Hill do you like GBG ?? or what have you heard??.

Old socs you want a ten bagger well here are 3 complete gambels some more so than others 2 of which i think hil would of thought about shorting one she would not look twice at let me know Hil if i am right in no order CRX IQE CYH.

Jeff

Socrates - 01 Jul 2003 22:50 - 1620 of 23498

Hello all.

Hilary
Don't worry, I'm not into shorting or spreadbetting. I don't like to take that kind of risk.

jgp212
Welcome back, wondered where you had gone to.

Hightone
I'll have a look at your three ten-baggers, I've never had one so it would be a new experience for me. I've had a ten-bagger in the wrong direction but that's life and part of the learning curve.

vasey - 01 Jul 2003 22:55 - 1621 of 23498

Good evening, Socks...I've been waiting here for you all evening!

Socrates - 01 Jul 2003 23:05 - 1622 of 23498

Vasey
Sorry, I've been otherwise employed but I'm in now, fingers poised to open the bubbly. How are you?

vasey - 01 Jul 2003 23:07 - 1623 of 23498

Fine, but a glass of bubbly would slide down a treat. Thanks.

I'm glad DYS is in profit for you too.

vasey - 01 Jul 2003 23:09 - 1624 of 23498

Quiet in here, must be some lurker who'll turn up for champagne.....

Crocodile - 01 Jul 2003 23:12 - 1625 of 23498

Evening all :-)

vasey - 01 Jul 2003 23:14 - 1626 of 23498

....another glass for a discerning reptile, please, Socks!

Crocodile - 01 Jul 2003 23:21 - 1627 of 23498

Thank you, just what I needed!

vasey - 01 Jul 2003 23:24 - 1628 of 23498

Socks always keeps a bottle in the fridge, so help yourself whenever you're passing! If no glasses are to hand, there are some straws in the top drawer...

Socrates - 01 Jul 2003 23:45 - 1629 of 23498

I really will have to increase the size of the fridge, I can only get 100 bottles in this one! I fancy a savoury nibble, but then it is nearly the witching hour.

Socrates - 01 Jul 2003 23:55 - 1630 of 23498

I'm off to Bedfordshire now, don't like this hot weather. Roll on winter and frost.

Blue day tomorrow?

Socco [:-)

hilary - 02 Jul 2003 10:03 - 1631 of 23498

Hightone,

I know nothing of GBG ....... just looked at the chart to see it wasn't a short. CRX raised a big smile ........ Jeffmack will probably explain why. And IQE and CYH ........ jury's out.

Socrates - 02 Jul 2003 21:20 - 1632 of 23498

Hello all, just been out for the groceries, bit of trolley racing, and came home with a 17" Sony flat screen display. Magical picture and so much free space on my desk.

Time for nice hot cuppa.
