stockbunny - 15 Oct 2004 11:40 - 16142 of 23498

Morning All,
Not long back from shopping myself - DD glad those figs came in good for you!

Classic street scene of stupidity up the top of the road this AM.
Rule one of driving round here:
Do not argue with London Transport buses or taxis.

Some 'clever soul/s' appears to have tried their luck and lost -
2 mangled cars (front end damage considerable)
1 slightly damaged transit van (rear damage)
1 totally unmarked 4 wheel pick-uppy thingy
and in the midst of it one 207 bus with slight side damage.
Result - Traffic chaos and 3 Met police cars - 3? Yes..3!!

Tea and a danish for me I think.

hilary - 15 Oct 2004 12:27 - 16143 of 23498

optomistic - 15 Oct 2004 14:10 - 16148 of 23498

Jeffy Ooooh, reckon I'll settle for a pot of tea.

stockbunny - 15 Oct 2004 14:35 - 16149 of 23498

jeffmack - 15 Oct 2004 14:36 - 16150 of 23498

optomistic - 15 Oct 2004 14:42 - 16151 of 23498

No we are lucky there today, we will have to wait while Monday for the rest to rise!! OK so I'm optimistic or something like that. Holding two conversations here. Flying colleague on Messenger. He's gone now, off to work soon protecting the public, probably be sent to your traffic incident LOL.
Any chance of a Danish with a pot of tea?
