Surely we are on the verge of a much higher SP ?
Do the calculations !
"Each MMF will contribute approximately GBP 4 million per annum per 20,000 ton licence plus a small percentage of end product sale price" then add "The market that it will be replacing is in the magnitude of millions of tons and this market will be entered into by a substantial number of micro manufacturing plants" and " interest levels from end users and converters has been immense"
Question is, what is a 'substantial number', 10 ?, 20 ?, 50 ?, 100 ?, xxx ?
I would call 50 a substantial number, so 50 x 4m = 200m, with an MCap of 132m the price on a forward looking basis is now very low.
Even on 10 licences (not substantial in my book) the price is justified on that alone ?

Hi guys,
I've just had a fright! I don't normally post here and read "You are posing as Neetybot" I thought I wonder why they think I'm posing as Neetybot when I AM me. Then I realised it said "posTing" whew!!
Anyway, I can't argue with Oblomov's statement that "if SEO don't start to deliver in terms of serious income" the sp could suffer again..... BUT 4p, you gotta be joking!
I'm feeling very optimistic and sense that SEO are also genuinely optimistic too.

Re the 1230 tv news. Tesco are fully committed to going green. They intend to cut waste and use material that help the environment. When the Asda exclusivity deal has run it's course, will they be first in the que at Seo's door.

JJS,
the more you post the more you sound like PM1! Your last post brings to mind his famous '25 SP' statement. We can all do simple multiplication arithmatics - we did it with Greenseal, unfortunately we were multiplying by by hundreds or thousands (PM1 by millions!) and the actual figure we should have multiplied by was 2!
I'd love to see hundreds or thousands of licenses issued, but at present there are none. Lets try to stick to the facts. We've all been here before.
Your 'this market will be entered into by a substantial number of micro manufacturing plants' is speculation, yet you present it as fact.

Oblomov,
My statement ? 'this market will be entered into by a substantial number of micro manufacturing plants'
That statement IS FACT not speculation !
It is from todays announcement fer gawds sake !
Notice the wording "WILL BE", not "might be", or "could be", or even "hope to be".
That is what Stanelco are telling you, I am just the messenger.

Calm down. I am afriad many of us who have been in SEO for years have heard and seen this before and just because SEO say "will be" does not mean money in the bank. Take this for example from the 1st ASDA RNS "ASDA anticipate that
several hundred machines in its supply base will be adapted to utilise the
technology due to the significant benefits it delivers." and 18 months later we have 2-3 machines
Whilst we all believe things will be better this time it is still in many ways jam tomorrow and hype on BB's.
I mean last month everyone was excited about petal pack, the frog pack etc etc.
It all sounds good but widows and orphans avoid.
Show me the money........................

I know where you took the statement from, JJS, but it isn't fact until the deals have been signed and licenses issued, whatever SEO may have us believe.
Barney beat me to it, so I'll say no more.

Here we go again? LOL
Ambiguity within the Business wire?
"...material can be produced at a discount to conventional plastic materials such as APET and Polypropylene."
".. material will soon become an environmentally and cost effective alternative to APET and Polypropylene (PP). "
"Can" and "will soon" not quite the same thing in my book of plain English

Barney/Oblomov
First Barney, the wording you have chosen is not in the right context, the right word in that context to focus on is "anticipate", and no such wording appears in todays statement.
And for both of you. You seem to forget what investing is about.
Lesson 1:
Buy before the news and before the big money piles in and the price rockets
Lesson 2:
Sell after the news arrives and when the big money is coming in or when growth starts slowing
If you really think it's a good idea to wait for the MCap to reflect the 200m I have suggested for 50 MML's then thats just bad investing.

Agree. Where did the story re walmart & tyson originate. Can anyone substantiate, or not. We've all seen the hype before.

Johnny,
As far as I know PM1 got the info, and sent it round to his contacts.

So there is a question for you at the AGM next week, Oblo.
Were Tyson and Walmart in the UK this week talking to SEO?
If they were, then PM1's info is better than many of us give him credit for. If they were not, he is a ramping t*** who can be safely ignored!!

I have the PM1 emails. But I always treat unsubstantiated 'rumours' with caution as should everyone, this share was ramped up on unfounded gossip last year.

foxy: whilst we should probably be cautious about the WM and Tyson visit until it is confirmed, the Starpol 3 Business Wire should be taken at face value. There is nothing sinister about the use of phrases such as 'can be produced at a discount to...' and 'envisioned that this material will soon... The key sentence is 'Biotec has successfully overcome the final technical hurdles to full commercialisation in the development of its STARPOL 3000 biodegradable, rigid material.' Technical hurdles overcome allowing commercial negotiations, manufacturing planning and approval cycle initiation. The potential numbers are becoming mind-boggling. Not surprisingly, a number of cynics around. The cautious approach is to wait until later in the product development process, but no doubt the big winners 'will be' the risk-takers. {see business wire on driver's column}.

Thanks for the advice on investing, JJS, but as I'm showing a profit of some 130% on SEO in two years I dont think I really need any lessons! On those kind of profits I'm happy to sit this out for a while in the hope that some of the enourmous potential can be converted into cash.
You seem to imagine that anything either Stanelco or PM1 says can be taken as gospel. If you haven't already done so, may I suggest you read the RNS's over the past 18 months or so and then look at the reality of what followed.
As for PM1 - it is clear now you are not him as he would have become abusive by now, so apologies for suggesting you might be! Ask yourself why he has needed to retreat to the safety of his own website (after being banned everywhere else) before you trust his wild claims.
Nice gain today but still based on expectations - lets hope we can see some concrete deals soon, which will lead to income, which will lead to a sustainable SP and possibly further rise to add to my 130% profit!
Another good example of 'Stanelcospeak', Tony. I rest my case.
