Looks like I am the only one trading FX...heavily short atm
and feeling a bit more confident

Sue 42 - 04 Jun 2004 16:12 - 1616 of 11056

I am too - I am scalping short positions.

hilary - 04 Jun 2004 16:20 - 1617 of 11056

foale,

I'm just standing still with this atm. What I make one day, I give back the next. Got stopped from my short on the crazy 1:30 price action.

Tim (nice but dim) giving more enjoyment this afternoon. I'll look at it again on Monday.

prodman - 04 Jun 2004 16:29 - 1618 of 11056

hilary - if you trade every other day, think of how much you would be making, well that's if you pick the winning day first. :-))

Tellon - 06 Jun 2004 20:21 - 1619 of 11056

Any one have a economic calendar for this week?

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 07:03 - 1620 of 11056

I'll do it in a few minutes time, Tellon.

It was on the website on Friday and I nearly posted it then. For some strange reason it then reverted back to the calendar up to 4th June and it's been like that all weekend. I notice that it's now changed again.

Ian,

If you read this ......... the system isn't allowing me to complete my post 1620 which will close off the html table. If I let you have the remainder of the post, will you be able to edit it in for me please? Otherwise I'll have to play about with the table later when I've got some more time. TIA.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Jun 2004 07:15 - 1624 of 11056

hil,

E mail the whole lot over to me and I will see what I can do. ian@moneyam.com

Ian

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 07:20 - 1625 of 11056

On the way. Thanks, Ian.

xxx.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Jun 2004 08:16 - 1626 of 11056

Hil,

Just tried to enter the whole of the HTML you sent me, but it did a few strange things to the posts underneath. I have reverted back to the original, but I will get one of the guys to take a look into it.

Ian

foale - 07 Jun 2004 08:16 - 1627 of 11056

ohh errr....

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 08:22 - 1628 of 11056

Ian,

That's what I was referring to the other week. There seems to be some sort of a limit on the size of a post that the system will allow you to make.

If it's a problem, I can re-do the table a bit later and split it halfway through Wednesday so that it will fit across the two posts.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Jun 2004 08:25 - 1629 of 11056

Sorry Hil,

Didn't realise that it actually corrupted the posts below, just thought you were having issues with posting all of it.

Leave it with me and I will get Geoff to take a quick look at it when he comes in. To see if we can get it sorted for you. If not I will let you know.

Thanks

Ian

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 08:36 - 1630 of 11056

Ian,

I think that it corrupts the posts below because it seems to terminate the post after a certain number of characters regardless of content. If there is any html within the post, the closing tags may then be lost and the html will then carry on to the next post.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Jun 2004 08:38 - 1631 of 11056

We will do a little digging around to see if we can solve it for you hil.

Ian

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 08:42 - 1632 of 11056

You're an angel, Ian. In the meantime, do you have any thoughts upon where Cable is going today? Up or down?

:o)

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Jun 2004 08:44 - 1633 of 11056

Hil,

My bet is that it will either go up, go down, stay the same or a combination of all three :0)

Ian

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 08:50 - 1634 of 11056

You've been listening to that boss of yours for too long.

:o)

I suspect that the dip buyers will move in on this current retracement at some stage and we'll see a retest of the overnight high and a possible break of 1.85 to form a new high of the up-leg.
