Carlsbad, CA, July 11, 2005: The Water Department of Burbank Water and Power (BWP) of California, a municipal utility serving approximately 45,000 households and 6,000 businesses with water and electricity, has implemented Tadpole Technology's GO! Sync (ArcPad) to improve citywide maintenance efforts.
Previously administered paper inspections are now integrated with ESRI's GIS software and digitally completed, saving time and money. This technology rollout is centered on automation of the department's hydrant inspection program and is built upon ESRI's ArcPad software running on Trimble ReconTM handheld devices.
"Going paperless with our inspection records has been a goal for the water department for some time," states Tom Lutgen, BWP Engineering Technician. "Working with Tadpole Technology, we've cost effectively accomplished an important step toward implementing an enterprise GIS. This application allowed us to extend into field operations with data that was ready, while continuing to build the rest of the system. With reduced staff time and improved accuracy using inexpensive technology options, we've ensured a return for this investment, which is the bottom line."
"This hydrant maintenance and inspection application is a system that every water organization can use and gain benefit. It's inexpensive, simple to roll out, and easy to use," says Carrie Turner, Marketing Manager for Tadpole Technology. "It's rewarding to see BWP continue to use our software and to yield savings through field efficiencies."
About GO! Sync (ArcPad)
GO! Sync (ArcPad) is a turnkey solution that automates the process of updating GIS data stored on handhelds. GO! Sync has become an important component for organizations implementing ArcPad.

more sales at a 75% discount to cost then, and the shareholders pick up the tab, I think this method of selling at a loss is called a `Guru One`

The net value of Cartesia alone has to be around 15p+ per share.

Have to agree Seq - if only these announced deals actually generated money (profit that is) then it might be different. However, from a TA perspective (not based on company fundamentals at all) I was slightly optimistic that the sp might have broken a downtrend. Even that seems to have been unduly positive.

lack of sales and lack of profitability is generally bad for shareholder value.

So its GEM tomorrow, as our dear Queen would say, no the real one not yuffer.
I too feel that we need an update from yufff to placate the thousands about to have their holding diluted again, goodness knows his record has been 100% so far (snigger).
From D.Lee
"Along the way there will have to be
yet another fundraising, and a
substantial one, he says, and that's
not going to be an easy one for the
shareholders to swallow".
as yufff always says, `thats the last of GEM and Steigs ` selling `stifled guffaw)

I think poor old yuffer is in his cups again on the `eyes`, so lets draw a veil over his horridly embarrasing posts and wait `til he sobers up enough to re-assure us that 15p is the minimum the ` group`, for such it is , is is worth.

hiyah beau, I watch with interest your posts on ` the eyes`, nice to see YOUR common sense among the undiluted BS, you seem to be the only one treating your holding as a gamble- nowt wrong with that- the others seem to see theirs` as a ` Holy Grail`,
must get out of the house its scorching
g`luck.

Tks Seq
I've now come to my senses and will be looking to sell at any opportune moment. Inevitably, the mm's will be toying with investors again quite soon, like last week, so I expect a little upward movement in the next week or so. Then I'm out bar a few so I can attend the AGM's for a laugh.
I've been long on MTO for a while now and with HBOS testing 9 I'm thinking of realising some cash so selling all of these plus Tad will bring a little dough in the coffers. Time has been difficult of late so haven't been giving it my undivided attention, so best stick the money in the mattress for now.
Heat here in London is punishing too. Enjoy the day.

the eyes have it all right, what they have caught I know not, but keep the virus away from me.
There are a dozen loopies there setting out parameters for running the co. , and I do believe they really think they are going to do it- lets see the next step is they meet a go-between with the shillings , then admit that they have held onto the shares for donkeys , some showing an -80% loss, but depite that and 20 years of no profit, they will turn it round.Main qualifications spouting 24/7 on a FREE bb, and watching the co. sink without doing the sensible thing- erm, selling their shares
well they made a film about Leeson- this one would be even better, I see Dell boy as the yuffer,Ron Moody as ML,Dolly Parton as Guru (well it has to have a sex angle),Sir Anthony Hopkins as Beau, the rest of the cast could be played by aged extras wearing grotty pullovers, in fact they could play themselves, oh the star OJ as PJ-

LOL Seq....Sir Anthony from Taibach (in Port Talbot of course). Brings back memories of some rather jolly good boozers in those parts, just down the road from Richard Burton from Pont-rhyd-y-fen (spelling probably moody) only just round the corner from my birthplace....Cymavon. Brought up in the "Lamb & Flag" boozer until just after I left the teat....probably why I likes a drinky poo and bosoms.
Wish I had their dough, speaking voices and choice of women...LOL. Class Welsh actors nonetheless.
Me, just a fool Tad investor...soon to be ex.
LOL LC1.

I thgt. you would relish the Knights` part Beau,
but for bring economical with the truth ( his quote `I own 8% of the co`.) PJ had to be juxtaposed with OJ, I fell about laughing tho` when the whole 3i`s dozen fell for his drunken boast, and even asked him to repeat the purchase, which the clown did, not so clever now tho` the brigand.
Still too hot to think, content to drink some cheap Chilean white bgt. in Dunkerque
last week-I actually had my hand shaken by a frog saying congrats. on the Olympics- and then the next day the bomb news--- ah well mus`nt get morbid
