What's with this North/South divide? Are you at work today or having a lazy day like what I is?

chocolat - 16 Oct 2004 11:48 - 16182 of 23498

Trying to rustle up a vestige of enthusiasm as molly mop before I go and pick up my U-Boot after the operation on its snorkel.

Socs

STORMCALLER - 16 Oct 2004 12:50 - 16184 of 23498

Afternoon all,
Late return from trolley Grand Prix, partially due to bad weather impeding journey to the venue, but mainly due to dealing with e-mails at 02:30 this morning! The event itself was a bit of a "non", too many yellow flags as a result of obstructions on the track. That and wrong choice of tyre contributed to a poor overall performance, though fortuitous breakdowns resulted in an undeserved third place in queue.
Better have a cup of tea, I will make a fresh pot, and then see if I can blag some food.

daves dazzlers - 16 Oct 2004 13:41 - 16185 of 23498

they dont get any better than that,,shandy boy.

Socrates - 16 Oct 2004 14:15 - 16186 of 23498

Jeffers
Just back from the trolley race, no broken bones I'm happy to say. I never thought of North Wales as part of North/South divide, always equated it more with Nepal, Outer Mongolia, that sort of area. Must go there one day though, just for a holiday as I'm sure it's a very nice place.

Stormy
You don't have to blag food in here, merely request it and it turns up. I don't understand it myself, the larder must be virtually unlimited. I've just had some antarctic strawberries, very tasty but avoid if you have sensitive teeth.

STORMCALLER - 16 Oct 2004 15:28 - 16187 of 23498

Socs,
If only I had realised, just walked miles in search of a scrap that might sustain me, only to discover I had no need, this steak is excellent!
I have visited Wales, some time ago, in places very striking scenery, though it can be a disconcerting experience, if a lowlander like me, to be driving along the road, and find you can see clouds below you!

optomistic - 16 Oct 2004 16:39 - 16188 of 23498

Afternoon All, sounds like you are all having an exciting day. These trolley races seem to be very popular. I got away with that today by doing some wallpapering.

snoball - 16 Oct 2004 16:49 - 16189 of 23498

Are you STILL wallpapering opto?

optomistic - 16 Oct 2004 16:53 - 16190 of 23498

Hi Jeff, filled the shed yet?

jeffmack - 16 Oct 2004 19:45 - 16198 of 23498

opto
Not yet, cleared a lot of stuff from the garage today so it wont end up in the shed.

optomistic - 16 Oct 2004 19:49 - 16199 of 23498

Jeff I have a shed but no garage, have integral car port, so you can imagine the state of my shed. Have a workbench etc but it takes 15 mins to clear it to get at it. Room for another shed but I know what would happen LOL
