Hi Jeff, filled the shed yet?

jeffmack - 16 Oct 2004 19:45 - 16198 of 23498

opto
Not yet, cleared a lot of stuff from the garage today so it wont end up in the shed.

optomistic - 16 Oct 2004 19:49 - 16199 of 23498

Jeff I have a shed but no garage, have integral car port, so you can imagine the state of my shed. Have a workbench etc but it takes 15 mins to clear it to get at it. Room for another shed but I know what would happen LOL

Socrates - 16 Oct 2004 21:20 - 16200 of 23498

I have a shed and it seems to be principally inhabited by spiders. I don't go there often.

STORMCALLER - 16 Oct 2004 23:23 - 16201 of 23498

Finally managed to get my machine back up after crashing it with great skill and panache, so much so I think I might turn professional.
Don't really know why it went wrong, I water it every day without fail, always with carefully collected rainwater, it gets the best fertiliser money no object, I wash it's motherboard every week, I rigourously enforce no standing on it's bus, I rake out and stoke it's firewall whenever it boots, when it is sunny it gets a healthy coating of factor 50, if it gets scared of the dark I sing to it..........I wonder..

STORMCALLER - 16 Oct 2004 23:24 - 16202 of 23498

I think I need a Guinness to calm my nerves.

STORMCALLER - 17 Oct 2004 00:52 - 16203 of 23498

With the serenity only a Guinness can bring, I am now calm enough to contemplate the onerous task of the journey home.
Gotta blow.
goodnight all

SC

amberjane - 17 Oct 2004 01:31 - 16204 of 23498

Arhhhh nice and contented now, full of good food and fine wine, washed down with a little nitecap which i'm just waiting for.....where is everybody???

little woman - 17 Oct 2004 09:32 - 16205 of 23498

Morning all, looks like I missed out on all the fun last night :-)!

My laptop is not happy - waiting for a new hard drive to be installed, and all the
stuff on the old one transfered to the new one. In the meantime, I can't use it...
I feel so lost without it. I'm having to use other peoples PC's in the meantime, but find it
so restricting......

jeffmack - 17 Oct 2004 10:08 - 16206 of 23498

Morning LW, hope you are well

Socrates - 17 Oct 2004 11:03 - 16207 of 23498

Good morning all.

Amberjane
If you want to see me at 01:30 you will have to come and find me in my bed.....

optomistic - 17 Oct 2004 11:37 - 16208 of 23498

Morning All, one or two of us here now Amber, including the ever hopeful Socs.
But where are you?

hilary - 17 Oct 2004 12:02 - 16209 of 23498

Well I believe that if you're not in bed by 10pm, it's best to go home.

Socrates - 17 Oct 2004 12:06 - 16210 of 23498

Good morning Hilary and Optomistic. A few of us around then, anyone for tea or coffee?

hilary - 17 Oct 2004 12:09 - 16211 of 23498

Hate to be pedantic, Old Socs, but it's actually afternoon.

Good morning by the way.
