Bought in today... have missed out on the impressive gains so far but solid progress is being made here and a good story developing so it looks good for more gains in the near future (imho)....

Quindell Portfolio, the brand extension company, says trading has continued positively in the period under review, building on the strong performance delivered by the Group in the first half.

The company expects to be significantly ahead of market expectations for the 15 month period ending 31 December 2011.

The Group announced back in October that it had won contracts with six established brands and one exciting new digital brand within the insurance, telecoms and utilities sectors, including for the first time, solar energy; and that revenues for 2011 were expected to be ahead of market expectations.

Since then, the Group has won further major contracts with established brands within the telecoms, utilities, on-line education and insurance sectors for both its technology enabled business process outsourcing division and software solutions division.

In aggregate, these contract wins could contribute over £6 million of annualised revenues. In addition, the Group has acquired two further businesses, Maine Finance and, most recently, Mobile Doctors Group Plc.

Margin performance has also been strong and, for 2011, margins are expected to be between 35 and 40 per cent. within its technology enabled business process outsourcing operations

if anyone is going to buy this lump o' junk, they'll probably wait to buy it from the receivers, taking care to exclude all the maggots and skeletons that are almost certainly lurking

goldfinger - 16 Dec 2014 17:39 - 1633 of 1965

Just take there pick.

cynic - 16 Dec 2014 17:46 - 1634 of 1965

notional goodwill maybe, but buy the company "as is"???? ...... well actually you probably wouldn't, unless with a great many caveats even after due diligence

goldfinger - 16 Dec 2014 17:47 - 1635 of 1965

No No it as some going concerns.

Not sure what price you would pay for them though.

cynic - 16 Dec 2014 17:49 - 1636 of 1965

as you rightly say, "QPP has some going (and ongoing) concerns" :-)

deltazero - 16 Dec 2014 20:55 - 1637 of 1965

good points from everyone - hope it going good for you cynic should be atm

terry has done his usual here, made millions and left behind chaos hence the sp and why the city dont like him one bit - i dare say terry will be back in a couple of years to......................................... ah let me see............................. set up another public co with fantastic fast growth potential doing.......................................... err well buying up old companies he used to own or have strong ties to - then cook the books a bit not too much but just about enough to keep it legal - plenty of spin - few wet behind the ears brokers and maybe call it teryyPP mk3 lol!

joshing aside i believe some of these assets are actually worth a few squid and may get 90p to 150p somewhere for the lot once qpp is broken up imo

anyhow gla
