Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

neilpos - 13 Apr 2004 12:59 - 1622 of 3104

No. I think the 2.3p trades are sells (I have been getting 2.3p sell, 2.4p buy)

Lord Gnome - 13 Apr 2004 18:50 - 1623 of 3104

Some of the 2.4p trades have been sells. One poster on ADVFN was buying at 2.37 and selling again at 2.4p. The price is all over the place. I think we have seen the bottom in Cybit. The run up to results should be very interesting. How much longer can the MMs manipulate the market and keep the share down?

Still Waiting - 13 Apr 2004 22:17 - 1624 of 3104

Not much longer hopefully, pay back time for those holding through the fun and games now awaits..

MillionDollarMan - 13 Apr 2004 23:29 - 1625 of 3104

Hi all,

With everyone asking whether a trade is a buy or a sell I was wondering why the true trade type cannot be declared and stored in the same database that the price you paid is stored in? Or is this just part of the market manipulation that is inherent in the stock market?

Didn't I read something last year about a new regulation coming into force that would force the MM's to declare the true trade type (i.e. Buy or a Sell)? Unfortunately, I can't remember when or where atm.

Regards

Just turned blue up 10%

Legins - 15 Apr 2004 10:21 - 1627 of 3104

Are we to expect a significant peice of news to cause a sudden surge in price now up by 15%?

yuff - 15 Apr 2004 10:27 - 1628 of 3104

Lets bloody well hope so-cant see any specific reason for the surge-caught many unawares-peeps not selling in to this.
Interesting.

MillionDollarMan - every trade is both a buy & a sell. If you buy a share someone else sells it to you. The trade type is not important - what is are the price of the transaction & the volume.

We tend to think them as buy & sells because we can comprehend whats happening better.

maggieuk - 15 Apr 2004 15:25 - 1630 of 3104

advfn boards hot with speculation of a Eurpean contract, unspecified. May be ramping, maybe not, but having watched the boards, the price rose, led by WINS, first. The BB came alight with speculation...

Who knows what it all is but its nice to seea rise after so long and a few people on that board claim they have built up holdings of several million shares recently, expecting an upturn. To what level i know not, no one is specific.

All fun and games isnt it.

The above are not my opinions just what i saw unfolding on the ADVFN board today. Time will tell if those who have talked a good story there today are proved right or not.

MM don't suddenly raise the price that much that quickly without a reason - especially after the way they have been trading the share so low recently. I hope that once the dust has settled it'll go up more.

chartist2004 - 15 Apr 2004 15:45 - 1632 of 3104

Wee all hope so Little Woman! ; God knows I waited long enough....

Still Waiting - 15 Apr 2004 16:05 - 1633 of 3104

It needs a European contract to justify taking on specific management and directors to handle this area of growth.

A trading update would also be nice.

jonfish53 - 15 Apr 2004 17:21 - 1634 of 3104

Nice 1 million late buy

Nitefly - 15 Apr 2004 17:39 - 1635 of 3104

lw:

I seem to remember Zoo doing it not so long back, missed that one though. Never believed for one minute it would go to such dizzy heights but it did. Ah well, you certainly can't catch em all.

Even though I expect CYH to significantly rise up to the results, I can't help but feel it is going to be a slowly slowly catchy monkey (no large leaps).

Anyone shorted this down? Be interested to know where you think its going?

My opinion is there are good things to come, it's only a hunch, so do DYOR. I haven't sold a one of these, bought more on the drops and intend to hold for the forseeable future.

Good luck all.

bartandlisa - 15 Apr 2004 19:50 - 1636 of 3104

i'm of the opposing view...when it starts it will be very quick and catch a lot of people out...they wont want to buy in because it has moved up too quickly and they wish they had bought the day before.

witnessed it last year with crx...it went from 2p to 14p in six trading days (june 9th - 16th)...going up 2p a day, i'm not saying cyh will do the same but these type of rises do happen

little woman - 16 Apr 2004 08:08 - 1637 of 3104

But Bartandlisa, Personally I have loads of this share already. Every so often they go up in price, and I sell a few, and then they drop and I buy a few. They go up and I sell a few, and they go down and I buy a few! Some I'm hoarding for "the big one"!!!!! LOL

Pumacat - 16 Apr 2004 08:34 - 1638 of 3104

Not convinced that the price will keep on going up. I still think for sustained positive movement there needs to be a great deal of new and sustained news about contracts and aquisitions.

A trading update wouls be nice as well espicially with the news announced by trafficmaster today. CYH have already reported a good rise in sales in thier previous announcements and that was beforee a number of new contracts were announced. I think a trading statement indicating projected level of profit for the eyar and turnover increase would be wonderful. I see already this morning that despite early gained the share price has returned to yesterdays level although I did notice that the buy price has increased a little.

little woman - 16 Apr 2004 08:53 - 1639 of 3104

Currently 1 x MM @ 2.25/2.75 & 3 x MM @ 2.4/2.90

Draw your own conclusions on whats happening (what would I do without L2)

Red Underwing - 16 Apr 2004 11:04 - 1640 of 3104

little woman,

I have to query the value of these L2 figures.
I bought in at 2.53p this am, kindly marked as a sell by MoneyAM.
L2 doesnt seem to have any relevance to that price!!

How many of the other similarly priced trades, marked as sells, are also buys.

Looking at the contracts announced so far this year I make the total anticipated 'new' revenue 1,690,000 using the gross profit margin from the H1 figures. That could add in the region of 315,686 to the gross profit. A useful sum. Hopefully there will be more contracts in the pipeline to add to this.

The level of renewals & extensions is also an encouraging sign.

Fly by Night

PS: I had forgotten that we talked about these back in January on the way to the SW meeting at Taunton!

little woman - 16 Apr 2004 11:57 - 1641 of 3104

The L2 figures are what the MM are quoting. The brokers allow us to trade between the figures, provided they have enough stock from existing clients. If they don't they will then start quoting the MM prices, because that is what they will have to pay for stock.

The L2 figures are just guides, but if they go up, so does the prices the brokers quote.
