THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

It was an empty road, so only risking my life. The current speed limits are too slow. I would have gone faster, but the car was at its limit.

'Huge' water resource exists under Africa

Scientists say the notoriously dry continent of Africa is sitting on a vast reservoir of groundwater.

India overtakes Japan and became the third largest economy.
Given the population of India, it can help growth.

Hays,

And if you had a burst front tyre.

Who was going to scrape you of the road.

Who was going to pay for your possible hospitalisation.

Tell your family.

Unblock the road etc.....

"Island unto yourself"?

Just reflecting, not claiming innocence.

We live in a beautiful world with various believes, cultures and definitions even for democracy... Decision about BLACK, WHITE or GRAY differs in different regions...

Americans and British do not like to believe in "GRAY" - they want to make a rigorous decision fast, usually based on the headlines ONLY & nothing beyond, but in Asia BLACK OR WHITE does not exist and everything is gray and they are happy with it as they think positively about life.

SO, Asians will not have the boom and bust of Japan like 35 yrs ago when it was run by outsiders.

Fred1new - 20 Apr 2012 09:41 - 16241 of 81564

I agree put Bill Cash in a sack and --- him.

Even better put Bill Cash and Cruella in the sack together.

Fred
The same thing that would happen if a tyre burst at 70mph. That what we pay taxes for.

Sinking ship slide 'in bad taste'

A council has been criticised over the presence of an inflatable, sinking ship in one of its parks on the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic.

Hays,

Over fifty years I have numerous "blow outs". Some on a 5-7 tonner, luckily on a double axle and due to lousy sets of tyres.

Had to replace 7 tyres.

Also had 1 front wheel blowout at about 60mph, and due to "power steering" lucky enough to just to end up cursing at having to change the wheel.

At a 100mph would have to been even luckier.

Anyway I thought you belonged to the party who didn't believe in paying their taxes.

Sorry, taxes.

-------------

But tell your insurance company that you like driving at 150mph on British roads when
you try to renew your policies.

----------------

TheTitanic hullabaloo makes me wonder why the "Brits" like to celebrate disasters.

Barmy!
