Shortie, write away then - but keep it simple. If it gets complicated, that's when you need a professional.

The average couple needing to shelter, just the maximum joint IHT allowance of £650k out of their estate, might easily get involved in paying professionals several £k in fees.

If they aren't your fees but fees your clients might be paying out to other professionals to perform financial tasks that you have suggested to them, then at least you will earn some kickbacks from the introductions.

As a target, I think you might be looking to earn £500 per day minimum. That's around £125k plus per annum.

In between doing the wills, you could also sell some solar panel installations. The order value is around £4k-£8k, the investment yield per client is more than 10% and so it is a relatively easy fairly straight forward sale to make and should will pay you around 10% commission per sale.

As a target: say 2 sales per week minimum.

You could be knocking up £1/4m per year in no time at all. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
