Hello everyone? , well Jeffers & Chocs anyway.
Interesting day here as I met, in person, a fellow PRM contributor from the advfn site.He lives in South Africa about 1000 miles away from us.
He sent me an email a few weeks ago and asked where I was in the Western Cape Wine route and pure coincidence he & his wife had already booked in for five or six nights in the Estate Lodges on the Golf course we live on.
At 7am Mrs LW + self teed off with them; glad to report I saw the game home returning a level par round.............
BUT....
Then the coincidence really hit us..
We went up onto the Club house veranda for a beer or two and a couple of newcomer UK guys came up to my table to say hello to me.
They are here working on a three year contract building a new dam at nearby Franschoek to supply water to Cape Town and I'd met and played with them a few weeks ago..
Our new friends recognised one of the said UK engineers; they had met and become friends about five years ago;...but where, I hear you say!
In bloody Queensland, Australia, that's where....what an amazing coincidence!
So, a few litres of Windhoek draught later we all said our goodbyes altho'
we shall have a meal with them on Tuesday.
Football was crap; this week it was Evertons turn to smash the Saints; now second to bottom they are in desperate trouble.
Wonder if GD would allow Rupert bloody Lowe to work in the cellar and clear off from St. Mary's....please...
Why is everyone wanting info on 1901?

Lots of people are interested in their ancestors and the census results are published 100 years after they are taken. The 1901 was released in 2001 and has been computerised for easy searching. People can see details of where their ancestors lived, their ages, occupations and relationships.

Wonder if Jeffers has got one of those weathervanes on 'the shed', the 'bird flying type'; he's getting a bit like Grandad in Bread.
Mucky books neatly stacked in the corner by the stove with the soup on the go.
