Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

(Sizzzle, sizzle, spit bang sizzle)

KEAYDIAN - 24 Jun 2009 10:13 - 1629 of 4886

(sniff sniff, slurp slurp)

Is it ready?

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 11:20 - 1630 of 4886

Yes, ready........ketchup?

Spaceman - 24 Jun 2009 11:28 - 1631 of 4886

Kim, what have you made for him?

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 11:37 - 1632 of 4886

Um....fry up!

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 11:56 - 1633 of 4886

Well, that's what it says on the packet anyway.............I think; not very good on these foreign languages.

KEAYDIAN - 24 Jun 2009 12:00 - 1634 of 4886

Aye, ketchup and brown sauce and mustard and some hundreds and thousands.

stockbunny - 24 Jun 2009 12:13 - 1635 of 4886

Gawd the mysterious ways of your digestive system are best left in the great unknown Keaydian.
Well done Kim :>)

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 12:16 - 1636 of 4886

Thanks Bunny!

(Splish, splash, splosh...sprinkle)

There you go KEAYDIAN......enjoy!

KEAYDIAN - 24 Jun 2009 12:51 - 1637 of 4886

(chew chew che......)

This banger is a bit tough.

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 12:53 - 1638 of 4886

Yeh, um....might have overdone the bangers a bit, translation problem re the frying time.

KEAYDIAN - 24 Jun 2009 13:06 - 1639 of 4886

Overdone!

Mmm, well I thought quinze minutes was 50 minutes, they'd been frying for 45 minutes before I realized that quinze is fifteen. Sorry. The 'pommes de terre rissoles' should be ok though and the 'ont fait des haricots cuire au four': 'les ouefs' and 'lard' might be a bit chewy and crunchy respectively.

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 13:38 - 1643 of 4886

The hundreds and thousands should be excellent.

stockbunny - 24 Jun 2009 13:41 - 1644 of 4886

I don't know how he eats that stuff - no offence Kim, I know you are just trying to keep the peace, no relfection on your cooking which is excellent - but I'll stick with my kiwi, nectarine, banana and buttered wholemeat roll personally. Anywhay sausages were designed to be served dark brown/black, anaemic sausages are not good......

Blimey littered with typos and I haven't even had a glass of cab sauv LOL

kimoldfield - 24 Jun 2009 13:56 - 1646 of 4886

Thanks for the compliment Bunny, yes my wife says she's "never tasted anything like it before" every time I do the cooking, kinda gives me a warm glow; mind you that could be from the flames! Would you like me to make a banana fritter for you?

More 'saucisses de cheval' KEAYDIAN! :o)

KEAYDIAN - 24 Jun 2009 13:58 - 1647 of 4886

(chew chew chew) um um (chew chew chew)
