So the prediction is 1.25 by June 2007.

EWRobson - 05 May 2006 20:55 - 16312 of 27111

All a bit of fun really! Interesting thing is that it could happen! Not many shares that you could make that comment about? Mind, DGT would be one such! A bit late for DEBT and DFD though perhaps 3 or 4 baggers. My best bet otherwise would be PXS - starting from a much lower base.

oblomov - 06 May 2006 14:55 - 16314 of 27111

I've just returned from a week or so away and have only now been able to catch up on the week's events, AGM, etc.

I must say I'm surprised at the generally positive way the weeks news has been received on the BB's, as although we have the usual SEO optimism for the future, the news of recent progress expected by most of us doesn't seem to have been forthcoming - in fact there has been little real progress but it would appear some steps backwards!.

From Tonyrelaxes report of the AGM (for which many thanks, Tony),

'Asked if there was to be an extension to the ASDA Exclusivity period (GS, Starpol later) because of the delays, Martin Wagner said this has now been agreed that ADSA will have 2 months Exclusivity following the first commercial installation. [There was some confusion over this that I could not fully hear] ASDA wanted the exclusivity to be able to announce they are GREEN and cant keep doing this more than once.'

This means we have gone from 2 conversions (which I must admit I previously took to be working commercial conversions) to NO commercial conversions at present. I was expecting that at least double figures would have been reached by now.

What is more worrying to me is the new clause that ASDA's exclusivity will be extended from the first commercial conversion, where no indication is given as to when the first commercial conversion will take place.

This is all very open-ended. Given that we are told the conversion problems have been solved, surely the first commercial conversion should take a matter of at most a few days, now that they have the three 'replacement' machines to use whilst the conversation is undertaken. So why the continued delays?

Also, From the RNS (AGM Statement)

a commercial installation of GREENSEAL currently being trialled at Grampian Foods near Manchester.

Am I alone in believing that all trials had been carried out succesfully in advance of ASDA's exclusivity agreement, last July? Were we ever told there would be 'trials' and then (a year later) 'commercial trials'? And if the problems have now all been solved, why the continued trials?

I believe the phrase 'commercial conversion' has only now crept into SEO's vocabulary - and that strikes me as being a little sinister.

I've seen no comments on the RNS of the 3rd May. Anyone have any comments on this - it looks on the face of it the most encouraging of any of the weeks events.

Stanelco PLC
03 May 2006

Stanelco plc ("the Company")

The Company received notification on 2 May 2006 that FMR Corp parent holding

Trust Company (FMTC) and Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its direct
and indirect subsidiaries, including Fidelity Investment Services Ltd (FISL),

(FIA(K)L), Fidelity Investments Management Hong Kong) Limited (FIMHK),
Fidelity Pension Management (FPM), Fidelity Investments Japan (FIJ) and Fidelity
Investments International (FII), investment managers for various non-US
investment companies and institutional clients, are together interested in a
total of 29,348,700 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company,
representing approximately 3.11 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

JJS - 06 May 2006 16:27 - 16315 of 27111

Why all the interest in knocking Greenseal ?, we know it's been a slow start, but Stanelco said in the AGM announcement they will make up for the shortfall.

"Over the long run we have the ability to make up any shortfall within our roll out program"

Starpol is now the most likely product to get the SP moving in the short term, and talks last week with Walmart should yeild news next week, and talks next week with Perseco should yeild news then or the week after.

Both news items should be talking 'a substantial number' of micro manufacturing units, very likely paid for 100% by Wal*Mart/Perseco, to give them the required amount of Starpol for their own use, in return for a cut of the revenues(40% to 50% ?)

"We are working with some of the world's leading organisations with a view to establishing micro manufacturing plants that will share the investment in plant and facilities while ensuring that we can expand our production capability to keep pace with customers' increasing supply needs for the Starpol range of materials"

Stanelco could be looking very quickly at 50 units in the US, with a 50% cut of the income, giving a recurring revenue stream of 100m, plus the royalty on the output from the units.

Tonyrelaxes - 06 May 2006 17:17 - 16316 of 27111

Oblo
Exclusivity-
As I said in my report, because of the loud air conditioning whirring and MW having a fairly soft voice (and possibly my advancing years) I could not hear the full debate/explanation over the exclusivity period - even though it was my question. Because of the noise, MW moved to the centre of the seating area, I was in the front row!

There must be convertions as they said WallMart had seen GS working at full speed on the production line while they were here. The full term I wrote in my notes at the time was "now to be completion of the first commercial installation plus 2 months". It may be that the Completion is deemed to be after a running period? But it would be helpful to have a clearer understanding. Perhaps some of the others at the AGM got a better sound of it and can tell us.

Fidelity-
This may have been CF3's "big buyer" of a few weeks ago - within what time limits must stakes be reported ? Also it may not be such a big purchase afterall as they could in theory have been sitting on 2.9% for ages and just topped up with 1.2m more shares.

Oh, and welcome back!

oblomov - 06 May 2006 18:37 - 16317 of 27111

Thanks Tony.

Yes, obviously Fidelity have been building a holding over a period of time, but it is encouraging that they have increased the holding at this time.

Was anyone aware of their holding before now? They are the sort of investors that add to SEO's credibility, IMO. By far the most exciting and concrete of any of the weeks other news.

JJS,

No offence intended, honestly, but the posts and observations you are making are similar to those we were all making a year ago. I think we've all moved on since then from the 'cut and paste' and 'believe all you read' mentality. We all knew then what 'we could be looking at' - trouble is we still aren't looking at it!

zscrooge - 06 May 2006 19:30 - 16318 of 27111

JJS/CF3/PM1/GaryH

Cut n paste king. EVS LOL

BTW

I invested here on the strength of EWRobson, who seems a very reasonable and balanced poster and suggests an SP of 1.25 by June 2007.

JJS - 06 May 2006 22:02 - 16319 of 27111

Scrooge,

Who are the others you mention, I don't see them here ?

Not that I care if you have me confused with other posters, and we all know it's so easy to point a finger at anyone, from somewhere across the internet, please yourself !

JJS - 06 May 2006 22:07 - 16320 of 27111

Oblomov,

I do hope we see deals like I mentioned, coming from SEO within the next two weeks, just to give us something more solid to work with.

oblomov - 06 May 2006 22:11 - 16321 of 27111

I cant disagree with that, JJS. Unfortunately, with SEO, two weeks has a tendency to drift into 2 years. I'm still holding, but getting increasingly less hopeful.

JJS - 06 May 2006 23:07 - 16322 of 27111

Tonyrelaxes,

RE - "Fidelity-

From the evidence you look very close to the truth there :)

As you can see below, Fidelity have been buying heavily since last October, an average of nearly 2m a month !!, most likely CF3 was right about the big buyer like you say.

The good points to note are that several different fund managers, not just in different offices but in several jurisdictions, have picked SEO stock for their own funds and for their own reasons, very positive in my mind.

Oh stop playing games, JJS - you've met Paulwotsisface and he's a very nice man?
Well of course - you and he are one and the same and that's the end of it, so move on.

oblomov - 07 May 2006 08:40 - 16324 of 27111

Thanks for that, JJS. Your most useful post to date, IMO. SOme facts at last.

garyble - 07 May 2006 10:21 - 16325 of 27111

Zscrooge,

I do hope you're also having a bit of fun as well as EWR and myself.

The 1.25 sp came from a misquoted trade entry on this website {trades page} pointed out by myself.

SO lets look forward to 25p before we start talking of s.

oblomov - 07 May 2006 13:51 - 16326 of 27111

Lets look forward to 15P before we start talking of 25p!!

JJS - 07 May 2006 14:46 - 16327 of 27111

chocolat,

Yes I have met him, we have a similar hair colour, and thats about it.

JJS - 07 May 2006 14:54 - 16328 of 27111

Oblomov,

It now looks very likely Fidelity were indeed the big buyer, pushing the price down as the MMs worked their order(s), and as the price is still being played with(movement on no reported volume, and no big trades late in the day ?), they or some other biggie could still be accumulating, at the cost of PI stop losses.

The future looks good for SEO as far as funds are concerned, as they have years to run to maturity, some have tens of years, so Fidelity and other big institutions don't care about causing a price drop in order to fill a big order now, and get the stock into those funds at the lowest price they can get.

oblomov - 07 May 2006 17:07 - 16329 of 27111

Yes, JJS, I agree. This is still by far the most encouraging news of the week for me. I wasn't aware till now Fidelity had bought in.

JJS - 07 May 2006 17:32 - 16330 of 27111

Oblomov,

You might also find this very encouraging. I just had an E-mail from PM1 to say that Stanelco will be 'Co Hosts' of The 2nd Annual Sustainable Packaging Forum, September 26-28 2006, alongside Tetrapak

This is shown at the bottom of this page http://bnpevents.com/PS/2006/SPF/index.htm
