After studying the table and the fixtures of the 6 clubs immediately below Cardiff I am now writing off the chances of two of them catching Cardiff.

7th placed Brighton are 18 points behind , played the same number of games and draw too often to make up the difference with only 14 games to go.

6th placed Boro who at one point looked the major threat are 16 points behind having played a game more and have lost more games away from home except for bottom club Bristol City. No chance of pulling those points back with only 13 games left.

Will write the rest off if and when but for anyone interested I wrote Burnley off in August :-)
