Bitter that you can't buy any at 0.30 pence......MMs reluctance to sell much stock at these levels....very good sign.

these sharese are not worth buying, doom and gloom

Bluelady - 24 Jul 2006 08:44 - 1644 of 1904

Hi Laila25,

I am a complete newbie to this board and have read this thread with great delight and just love yours and Sue Helen's enthusiasm for this multibagger.

I am really interested in these shares as I think they have huge potential due to the level of interest generated in them over the years. I want to get rich so quick and not look at any downside whatsoever. The blickered approach is always the best way without doing any research yourself. However, when I try and buy these shares via my Barclays stockbroker and type in either the epic or the company it comes up with no matches found. Can you be so kind and give me the tel. no. of the boiler room I should ring?

lanayel - 24 Jul 2006 09:02 - 1645 of 1904

Hi Bluelady

I am having the identical problem trying to buy these through TD Waterhouse.
When I typed in DMR I got forwarded to their 'dont touch with bargepole' department and told to ring a 0900 premium number and ask for Sue, Helen or Laila.

;o)

Bluelady - 24 Jul 2006 09:18 - 1646 of 1904

Hi lanayel,

LOL

Drat, that is such a shame. I really thought after reading all these well researched posts I was onto a winner. It took me hours reading these thousands of posts and DMR was going to be my first one chosen from this board. Maybe I'll try my next very successful approach of investing which is throwing the dart at several shares on the dartboard. Someone give me the blindfold please.

If you are a new comer to shares and wish to make a lot of money, i suggest you buy Jim Slater's Books the "The Zulu Principle" etc. Basic commonsense to investing. If you utilise his principles you won't be taken for a ride like some have been on this thread.

Another thing about his techniques is that they work and give some protection in retracements in the market as well as better returns than the normal indices.

Combine with TA and you can have a well organised discipline approach rather than pure gambling or following dubious tipsters or pump and dumpers. Some are on this thread and many on this board!

Bluelady - 24 Jul 2006 10:54 - 1648 of 1904

Hi Fred1new,

Thanks for the tip about Jim Slaters book. I might read it. I've read Alvin Hall's book, money for life and it is just up my street as simple but with humour. Actually I am a newcomer to this board and have been reading the threads for over a month now. I've got wrist strain from scrolling through some of the threads in which I an interested, some of which I am reading for the amusement factor like this one, some for actual info as the board I frequent doesn't always have as much info as this one. Not a newcomer to shares although I wish I was as nearly every share I can buy now is cheaper than when I bought them. But I guess that is where the discipline comes in, not selling when the market sentiment goes against the company but the fundamentals are still good.

Anyway the bit I wrote about Barclays not letting me trade is actually true. so as quite a few posters have written I couldn't touch it with a barge pole even if tried

lanayel - 24 Jul 2006 11:38 - 1649 of 1904

Fred1new

Sound advice like buying Zulu Principle is completely lost on this thread !!!

All we want to know here is do you have any DMR ?????

If not, why not !!!

;o)

Fred1new - 24 Jul 2006 13:25 - 1650 of 1904

I don't hold these shares and pointed out a long time ago that I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. If ever they do live up to what they have promised for years I might peruse them again, but the cash burn has been colossal. The TA and charts in my opinion are dreadful.

Dil - 24 Jul 2006 15:38 - 1651 of 1904

Yeah but the ramping is first class Fred :-)

Laila25 - 24 Jul 2006 18:41 - 1652 of 1904

Good crowd here..........interest building.

Laila25 - 24 Jul 2006 19:27 - 1653 of 1904

Huge spread of 100% usually done to discourage buying. I wonder why. all imho..

But in this case even with 197 million shares in issue...it is difficult to buy a conservative amount of 500,000 shares at 0.30 pence.

Only 2 brokers etrade and TDWaterhouse allow DMR to be tradeable.

coeliac1 - 24 Jul 2006 22:45 - 1654 of 1904

I would have thought anyone buying 500,000 @ 0.30p was more reckless than conservative. Why lose 50% of your cash at a stroke?

Laila25 - 25 Jul 2006 05:07 - 1655 of 1904

MMs won't even sell you that many at that price.........something brewing.

aldwickk - 25 Jul 2006 07:06 - 1656 of 1904

Then you better pour it before your tea gets cold.

Kivver - 26 Jul 2006 13:27 - 1657 of 1904

and birmingham city will win the premiership in 2008, thatcher will make a come back and become queen, i will become a millionnaire within a year, bush is a member of mensa, dmr share price will go up and laila is a fine looking woman with huge boozakas. all look very good bets. what would be the odds for 5 predictions above??????

bosley - 26 Jul 2006 14:30 - 1658 of 1904
