And another 1 gone, Jeff. Don't worry about upping the ante for now.

Not yet, Dazzling Davey. No panic. I prefer to wait until I can see the whites of their eyes first.

You bloody northerners, always living in the past. I never said I was any good at picking shares, backing horses or supporting a decent footie team.

From a southern jessie

optomistic - 20 Oct 2004 14:33 - 16420 of 23498

One important member of the community missing yesterday and today.....Stockbunny. Just possible her warren may be flooded....looking for voluteers to man the pumps. I'm getting hungry there's no creative fresh food to be had anywhere in here!! Excluding sherry trifle, gallons of the stuff:-)

Priscilla - 20 Oct 2004 14:50 - 16421 of 23498

opto......I think you have a crush on fluffy-ears! Indeed, I can see you blushing from here..... ahhhhh, bless!!!!

optomistic - 20 Oct 2004 14:54 - 16422 of 23498

Hi Priscilla, I'm sure I am not the only one who has missed her.
Would you like a coffee and a......only a few old doughnuts left, I would just have a coffee :-)

Priscilla - 20 Oct 2004 15:07 - 16423 of 23498

I think it's sweet, opto! And I shall be watching with greater interest from now on....

I'll have a mug of tea, please.......I wouldn't want my powers of observation dulled, should 'hop-along' bounce through the doors, now would I?

optomistic - 20 Oct 2004 15:11 - 16424 of 23498

Tea it will be Priscilla, I'll bet you will be reading the tea leaves :0)

loadsadosh - 20 Oct 2004 15:36 - 16425 of 23498

Hi Opto
I think I can feel a crush developing for Prisi, such a romantic soul. perhaps something for you to watch with interest, though I'm not sure what the Budha will say

daves dazzlers - 20 Oct 2004 15:55 - 16426 of 23498

Cilla opto loadsadosh, good afternoon all.Strange type of day market wise,i thought we mite all be strong for the next 2 weeks,,with the bush/kerry being played out to a finish.
Well tea it is then,,,do we do Q/A on here ?

little willie - 20 Oct 2004 15:57 - 16427 of 23498

Hils..
developed a ladder in my 'one piece' and you know what happened to the jumper your Ma knitted you when someone pulled 'that little loose bit of fluff'

I sold " the Scraper" foolishly [?] it now appears; perservered for eight years with them and took 41p remembering a little advice a certain Princess gave me a long time ago.

Now seems that its payback time and even at todays price I think there's a tremendous upside to be gained; however my main goals from investing have been met, mainly thanks to PRM which have financed not only our new house but also our lifestyle out here.

I'm not trying to build mountains, have had tons of fun plus ATL :-({{{{
so my portfolio has shrunk from about seventeen companies to just five with a
relatively small amount of spondies invested[ most still in PRM].

loadsa...'Cilla is another Hils..an upanatem lady with class; likes of you and me couldn't stand the pace.
Keep rubbing the Buddha

Priscilla - 20 Oct 2004 15:58 - 16428 of 23498

Yep, what's the Q?

oooh! Thank you, LW! Nicest thing that's been said about me for ages.
