If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

5 day charts are only displaying 4 days, as well as being shifted by 6 minutes or so of course...

I have noticed in portfolio that for the last few days the summary figures (performance) are being corrupted by the fact that Incite (INC) have been suspended. The figures show this as a negative amount every day. In line with the recent change you made with regards to the P&L calculation can you do anything with this one so it only shows once.(anything for an easy life).Graeme.

GRAEME.ALEXANDER,
I've looked into this, and it appears to be a temporary suspension, resulting
in our data vendor sending us unreliable data for this stock. I'd remove it
from the database, but this seems the wrong thing to do given that the
suspension is likely to be lifted.
In the meantime if you want to keep it in your portfolio, the easiest thing
to do may be to temporarily change the quantity in yout INC transaction to 0,
and then edit this back when the suspension is resolved.
Kayak, the 5 day charts now do show 5 days and not 4 - thanks for pointing
this out.

...finally worked out that the time on one of our servers was wrong.
Now fixed - so graphs may look odd for next few minutes (only US market
now open), then should be back in sync again.

Thanks Felix, working fine this morning, much obliged. You really ought to synchronise the server times automatically :-)

Over the last week or so I keep getting slowdowns on this site with the traders thread, this normally happens when I try and refresh the window, it hangs for a long time. Often a Stop followed by a refresh works but sometimes I have to close the session and login again, I haven't seen others complaining about this but I am certain that it is only Moneyam I am getting the problem with.
There are also a number of other strange things happening such as L2 windows going to a new sessions and requesting login, this has happened a few times.
When I tried to post this just now there was no response for several minutes !!!
What's happening?

MAM is getting so slow with constant requests for login again. The news on a particular stock takes for ever. Why is this?

barnetpeter,
I will get the tech boys to take a look at this and see if we can get to the bottom of this - we did expewrience a slight problem this morning which may be the root cause of what you are seeing, with regard to login requests (this is due to the fact that we had to do some restarts to clear the problem) - can you close down your browsers and log back into MoneyAM - let me know what the response times are like then.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Regards
Ian

Spaceman-you are not alone in this-been happening for ages now-have pointed it out many times-just have to wait I suppose-that fix the other week seems to have caused more problems than it solved-not happy:(
